The Flyers didn't do this when they were on the verge of going down 3-0 to Boston. They kept at their game and ultimately came back and won the series by playing their game. The Pens could have tried doing the same thing. Obviously they chose not to - eayost
This is something the Flyers need to be aware of, remember 2010 and what you did to us when everyone thought you were cooked. I don't wanna be a buzzkill, and I am rooting for you guys, today was disgusting but if they do buckle down you could end up on the wrong side of history just like we did. Just saying. |

yup. I'm sorry Penguin fans, I like alot of them, but as far as the actual team, such cowardice by Crosby and gutless acts by Neal there going after the kid, then Giroux. Gimme a break. If your girl Gina who is a Hart trophy favorite can't shake loose from a 19 year old then shame on him. Nothing against Coutier he's doing a helluva job! For a veteran player to stoop to that level is disgusting. I have some respect for the league of my favorite sport but if they don't suspend Neal then please, fire Shanahan and get someone in there who knows what the eff they are doing. - JoeRussomanno
I guess you've signed off on a reg season mulligan for briere, huh? |

My guess, none! - MJL
How none? Left his feet on a check on Couturier which was away from the puck, then a blatant elbow to Giroux's head that may have caused injury. |

I will agree with all of that except to say again like I did earlier that Schenn picked a bad spot and time to do what he did on Martin. Martin was engaged and no longer had the puck. Schenn left his feet. He deserved a bit of what he got. - rockychocbill
I see that point. Then he deserves a penalty, and maybe even an ass kicking from Asham. But not a crosscheck to the neck. Not under any circumstances is that okay. That is a clear intent to injure.

Lol he didn't even hit Giroux, that little stumble was a nice added effect. The blindside/late hit on Cooter is a bit iffy, i think he definitely did it on purpose. - Leafland

There was a discussion the other day on what's honorable and unsportsmanlike. What the the Pens did today, was dishonorable. Starting with Asham. Nothing wrong with coming to the defense of a teammate. But not with a crosscheck to the neck/face. Schenn didn't do anything dirty to warrant that response from Asham. Also you don't take runs at people's heads, or blatant hits away from the puck, just because your getting you ass kicked. You compete. You challenge a player to a fight even. But not what the Pens did. It's classless and unwarranted. - MJL
that was right out of the boulerice play book. |

I am losing it here watching that pretty boy take shots to the head of two top players and not get a single penalty until a meaningless scrum later.

it's all textbook suspendable, but the league won't cuz it's the pens doing it to a flyer. other way around 5 games maybe 10 |

The Flyers don't need to start anything in game 4. Defend themselves as needed but they do not and should not be targeting or starting anything.

Glad they made that call on Rinaldo to send the message early that such conduct won't be tolerated. |

I hope Asham and Neal get nothing so they are forced to play game 4
Coburn is a guy I wouldn't want to piss off |
