That's the likely outcome of sending Rinaldo or Shelley after Neal. Got to bide your time, but at the same time, make it clear that any kind of shenanigans, and Crosby is the target of your fury - Jsaquella
I just don't want to lose a player from a meaningless headshot like we almost did today, because of them being "frustrated"
Every game has become uglier as the series has progressed. |

I just can't wait to find out who's getting what. - roenick97
Personally contact me, outside of Ashams auto suspension for his pathetic play, no one will get a suspension. I'll take bets on it. There will be no suspensions to the Penguins outside of the Asham auto suspension. |

with Shanny's lack of discipline and the combo that the Pens are the NHL's favorite and most pampered team; a warning to Neal and 1 game to Asham.

Is there any word on Giroux, Couturier, Schenn? Are they all okay? They were all pretty dazed after those hits... |

Sounds like there is a good chance they will be without Adams and Asham.
I think Vitale was missing today too? Saw richard park in there. They could be missing an entire line next game. Only the fourth line, but... |

After today, anything like that is going to result in the officials sending a clear and forceful message to the offending team. Any suggestion that the Flyers send Rinaldo or Shelley after Neal is just plain stupid. - MJL
I like the way the Flyers are handling it. Pens are still dangerous, got a great team over there, series isn't over yet...if that's how they want to play, whatever. We're playing our game. |

That is good. I was at the game tonight and it was disgusting what the Penguins did tonight. |

As bad as it sounds, I would send Rinaldo right after Crosby in the first few minutes of game 4. If Crosby is gonna call what happened tonight "playoff hockey" lets see how "playoff hockey" it is when he is taking the haymakers to the back of the head.
That was one despicable display by the Penguins tonight and the league better take actions. - Flyers2821
I feel your frustration but think its better to just take a business approach wednesday. As much glutial kissing of the penguins the league does, I think the officials call a heckuva game wednessday. Concentrate on playing better and winning. Beating the crap out of Crosby Wednesday doesn't do anything toward winning a cup, that's all that matters. Trust me a first round sweep at the hands of an arch-rival that any jerk with a microphone in front of his face picked for you to hillbilly stomp, is humiliating enough. |

It would not change the decision. There is a big picture. What are the other ways besides a brawl?

Want to hand the Pens a 9 minute PP to start game four? - Jsaquella
Why not? We score more on their pp than they do.
I would not take a cheap shot and I would not doanything at the start. But I would give him good hard checks every single time by Grossman and Coburn and Simmonds and Hartnell (not Shelly/Rinaldo) that there is an opportunity and grin at him.
And then if he wants to drop them by mutual consent, well we should oblige him. |

It is not stupid at all. If Rinaldo gets a suspension it is not a big deal. I am 100% on board with sending Rinaldo out there after the Penguins top players in game 4. Absolutely 100% behind it.
What the Penguins did tonight was horrible. Crosby deserves to be punched right in the beek just like Chris Therien said.
Yes, it is game 4, an important game. But there is no doubt in my mind the Flyers will retaliate if the league does not do what they should in suspending the appropriate players. Absolutely 100% no doubt in my mind. It will happen. |

I dont know, there are ways of sending a message, I'm not saying to turn into the way Pittsburgh is, but, I worry they will be worse on Wednesday, you saw the Couts hit, there was no puck, Neal could have done the same in the parking lot practically. |

well if Rinaldo can do to Crosby what Carkner did to boyle that would be hilarious. But I'd rather just win the game. |

He wont drop them, thats why he did what he did today, they have zero honor, this is what the "instigator rule" does, it allows weasels to do what he tried to do today. |
