Kassian is a minor league player at present (and perhaps forever). Edler and Kesler (yes, I disagree with your assessment) are both playing like minor leaguers right now. Kesler is showing me that he is not a team player (incredibly selfish) and his head has grown too big for himself. The hard part in saying that is I've always liked both of them -- but right now they are the leading reasons why the Canucks are losing (and will lose) this series. I hope I'm incorrect.

I think Kassian is better suited to play with Pahlsson. Ebbett is also a better scorer than Kassian and I see him as a better fit with Hank because of his experience. The guy had 5 goals in 18 games. that's like a 20-25 goal pace.

Yet Kassian wasnt tried on the 3rd for a single shift in th regular season. Actaully, AV didnt once try anything but Higgins/Pahlsson/Hansen on the 3rd until the playoffs. This after weeks of listening to AV tell us how they are trying to play everyone with everyone in preperation for the playoffs. Then the first time we see any variation is in the playoffs is when (frank) all is working. Welcome to the preseason boys.

Any word on Reinprecht or who starts in net tonight? Have the Habs requested permission to talk with AV yet?
