Still, we need all the offense we can get. Goals wins games, not hits. The Flyers have proven that you don't even need good goaltending if you score enough. - AlexF
Exactly. We arent even close to the Flyer's skill level however. |

You think this team could win at least one game in this series?
The same pathetic leadership year after year. Our D is healthy...Both goalies are playing solid... still they choke. I've been saying for years... this team loses with or without Luongo. It's simple...the scoring disappears.

Is this one of the games the we thought Quick would steal, Micah? - As_I_See_It
Let's say it's the 2nd and he's out of steals. |

Evern if you go 4 straight, atleast you get playoff hockey....we would kill for even 5 minutes of it! - IronMaidnick

Actually being visibly nervous while watching a hockey game again would be amazing. |

Look guys...i'm sorry for what happened to Daniel. It was out of character for Keith to do that and he was dealt with. Maybe not to the extent y'all think he should have been. And with Daniel's lingering symptoms, I don't blame you for being pissed.
But we were down 3-0 to you guys and rallied....the Nucks can do it too.
NEVER SAY DIE. - philco28
It wasn't directed at you... it was directed at one of your fellow brethren who was saying Canucks were just resting Daniel for the playoffs and guaranteed he would play game 1.
I dont want to rally from 0-3 and lose game 7! |

Canucks have been outplayed so far, but they certainly haven't gotten any bounces. It seems like it has just been bad break after bad break.
Despite the presidents trophy, something felt off about the team this season. We are now seeing this manifest.
I think the problems start behind the bench. Pending a Chicago style rally, I think that's the first area that needs to be addressed in the offseason. |

Agreed. Only the Sedins can compare in that department. Our other guys are hard chargers but nothing like what Giroux or Jagr bring. |

God, I'm sick right now... I want to vomit so badly, it's like our entire roster is a bunch of plugs who can't get the puck on net and get rebounds, they miss the net, shoot it into the crest or get it blocked. I give up, even if we win Game 4 we're done, so much for this being our year. - DariusKnight
You guys have a good regular season team, but take a look at last year and compare the Canucks record in games 1 and 2 and games 3 - 7. This is a team that does not like pressure. They better adjust or otherwise this could be the worst showing from a president trophy winning team in the playoffs ever. If I'm AV I'm showing the 30 in 30 "4 days in October" documentary. Got to find inspiration somewhere

Canucks have the best road record in the west, with 24 wins, 2 more than the Kings won at home. They know how to tighten up the defensive side of the game. I expect the Kings to get a couple early power plays, if we can kill them then I think Vancouver plays a patient game and waits for their chances, Higgins or Hansen with the winner. If the Kings score early, I think we see a track meet with one of those 5-4 games and the Kings with the victory. Wishy washy? Maybe, but I don't think we outscore them if a free wheeling game. - 1970vintage

Even though we won the season on a winning streak, it was not indicative of our play. Bounces have run dry. - kent
In all fairness, 6 of those 7 teams that the Canucks won were against non-playoff teams. The only playoff that Vancouver beat was LA (1-0) and they're now down to them 3-0 the the series. |

Not sure if you are watching the same series I have been watching?
Daniel has been out.
And Henrik was by far the best Canucks forward tonight by a mile. |
