I always felt Fleury was one of the most, if not the most, overrated goalie in the league. But every time I made that comment I'd get a "his stats don't look great but he makes the big saves at the biggest time..." Whatever. - AlexF
He was pretty phenomenal against Detroit 2 years in a row. Probably the most hot/cold goalie in the league. |

Wow and we complain about our PP. PHI on the PK looks more likely to score than PIT does.
Asham is a thug. That was brutal. I honestly did not see this breakdown in PIT's discipline coming. PHI seem to get under their skin like no one else can. |

Letang threw down some haymakers. Loads of fights in this year's playoffs. - AlexF
No respect anymore. And the league needs to do something about it before someone's career ends in these playoffs. Not gonna lie though, it is entertaining. |

Reminds me of our series with CHI. PHI reminds me of the CHI team that won the cup. |

The Pens lost it. Game gone ugly...Asham just tooled Schenn and is out of the game...
Does anyone think that all the fighting and violence this year has in some part to do with how the game was officiated down the stretch and then the switchup. Looks like there is way more frustration in the 1st round than I'm use to seeing. |

Agreed, usually you get maybe 1 series like this but not 3 or 4. It's brutal out there. |

It's certainly possible. But more than anything no one seems to be getting suspended for anything (not yet anyway). That Weber turnbuckle set the bar really low and now it seems like a circus. |

That goal was exactly what I'd like to see Booth doing for us. I won't hold my breath though. |

Good point. It's getting ridiculous. I wonder if we're going to see more of the same tonight in LA. |

It's scary how good Philly is going to be for the next few years. Coturier and Schenn are only going to get better too. Brilliant offseason moves. |

Fleury looks horrible. - Nucker101
He should be pulled immediately. He looks like an AHL goalie at the moment. |

Yup, exactly what we need more of. He's capable of it, just needs to have the confidence and consistently bring it every shift. |

I was shocked and thought they should have at least kept Richards but those moves look great right now. And I love how they got younger and better and basically re-tooled instead of blowing it all up. |

They're pretty damn good right now. These guys know how to draft.
Not sure if PIT are bringing out the best in them but if they win this series and can keep up this level of play, they'll start to look like odds on favorites for the Cup real quick. |

Agreed. Again, reminds me of Luongo at times versus Chicago when they eliminated us. Once a team gets into a goalie's head, it can get ugly in a hurry. |

I was going to say the same about Kesler. Should have traded him when we had the chance. |

They have the beat team in terms of forwards and defense IMO. Just look at lines 1 through 4 and their entire D-Core. Bryzgalov just needs to be decent and give them a chance and IMO they're the team to beat in the East. |

Might be a good lesson for Calgary. Trading your stars doesn't need to be a talent dump. Feaster doesn't strike me as especially clever though. |

So did Crosby when Giroux was lying on the ice.
I guess Ashams hit is equivalent to Romes hit against the Bruins? |

I remember that "trade Kesler" day very well. Doesn't look as crazy now as it did then. Still, we know he has it in him and this series is far from over. It seems strange to say this about a 2nd year goalie but I feel a lot better knowing that Schneider starts tonight. |
