Yeah. I don't know if Weber has a prior history of discipline. I don't know how he wasn't suspended. Made zero sense to me. - PLindbergh31
shanny should have been removed from his post the second he decided not to suspend him. if that's not suspension worthy, i don't know what is. i've never seen weber to be dirty, and believe him to be an elite player in this league, but he what he did crossed the line and warranted a suspension. |

Bogus ruling. Is Weber a repeat offender? I'm not sure, Shanahan in every one of his suspension videos makes note of that, and seems to weigh it heavily. - PLindbergh31
Still, that one was a hanging curve ball and Shanahan fouled it off. |

He's a great player, and has a bit of a nasty streak, I don't know why he did that to Zetterberg, it was really stupid and dirty. - PLindbergh31
I'm a Weber fan but how he doesnt get atleast one game is ridiculous. |

Ottawa is giving the Rags all they can handle. I like that. Rags will still come out on top, but I would love to see that series go 7 |

I don't think anyone understands that one. - MJL
Can you imagine hypothetically if Rinaldo did that to Crosby. I believe he would have been suspended for the remainder of the playoffs, and perhaps more. |

Vancouver is most certainly done in 4 games. Total front runners that franchise, very few have any guts on that team.
Quick is an absolute monster.
Let me break off some high school level Spanish, Tu es el monstruo Senor Quick. - PLindbergh31
quick has gotten better each year. he got lambasted in 2010 for a poor playoff, which i thought was unfair. he kind of dragged that team to the playoffs and was in his first post season. hard to kill him when the rest of the team didn't do much to help him. he was much better last year, and didn't take nearly the kind of heat he did before. this year, he's really come into his own. it's not a surprise. the position typically takes time for a player to mature, and rarely is that a goalie steps in as a kid and just shuts it down, like roy did as a rookie in the '86 playoffs en route to a cup. |

Totally agree. Everyone is confused by it, and vehemently disagrees with it. |

Hey, Jeltz went yard from each side of the dish in a game once...still not quite sure that that wasn't a collective drug side effect. |

More like a year ban. |

He get's no goal support in LA. I truly believe he's better than Lundqvist. |

Ottawa is a solid club. Their tough to beat on their home ice as well. Actually I dont have the exact numbers but it seems that way. |

I really don't like Ottawa, but I obviously hate the Rangers. But they are playiong really well, and without Alfie too. |

2 different shows with the same name. One on NBC the other on NHL network. Where else can you go to hear analysis of hockey on TV? Certainly not espn.... |

Thanks I needed that, but still... most of these are blogs. It really needs to be said by the on air personalities, and most importantly the league. I cant wait to hear what shaniban has to say. - RooNosHockey
The Toronto Sun and the Phoenix Sun Times are actually newspapers. And The New Yorker is a rather well known magazine.
Neil Smith, Ray Ferraro and others have been critical on the air. |

If I was Rinaldo I would totally do it. I would grab either Malkin or Crosby and slam their head into the glass as hard as I could. Maybe slam it a few times.
Then, as I was being escorted off the ice, I'd pull out a pre-written check for $2500 and hand it to the ref, turn and give the home crowd a huge hulkamania flex, and skate off the ice.
It would be great if he could somehow coordinate that the the jumbotron operator so he could show a picture of the $2500 check on the screen right after the hit.
(ok, no not really, but wouldn't that be effing hilarious?) |

If he did it he would totally be a cult hero in Philadelphia, while probably throwing his career away. Is it worth it? Maybe...

certainly not this year. not sure how this season compares to the two prior in terms of goal production. i believe he's better than lundqvist too, who's bigger and uses his size to his advantage. quick is more fluid, compact, and imo has better rebound control. i'm just not a fan of lundqvist's style, not to mention his ridiculous shoulder caps. i can't argue against his effectiveness - he's won a gold medal, and piled up 30+ wins every year behind a generally lousy team. |
