Lundqvist and Anderson were fantastic. If the Flyers can get that type of performance from Bryzgalov, no doubt they can win the Cup for the next 9 years. - PLindbergh31

Wow. 4-0. Lincecum getting murdered. - stveshdy
Lincecum has been getting pummeled all year. Teams are treating him as if he was Brian Boyle. |

I'm in full belief that an entire healthy Flyers' line up could play with the Rangers. I give the Rangers all the credit in the world for a series sweep over us in the regular season but with that said, key players were hurt in and before these games against the Rangers and our blue line was pretty think before picking up Grossmann and Kubina. This isn't an excuse, it's a fact. We're a better team now. Even if we were to lose a best of seven against them, I like our chances now better then I did early on. - roenick97
I honestly have no fear in playing the Rangers. I dont care what the season stats were this Flyers team can beat anyone. |

Oh... I didn't realize you have that much time. If I was in harms way and even if I had a storm cellar, I would get the heck out of harms way. Yes I saw the damage, incredible, these tornado vortex's sometimes have winds in excess of 300mph in them. Just incredible the type of damage they can cause. - PLindbergh31
just youtube Joplin MO tornado, the videos will shock and amaze you |

I think after this series Bryz and the D will settle down. - bigmookalookie
I'm thinking it will too. I think the Flyers figure they can outscore the Penguins at their own game, and obviously though 3 games they are right. |

Well, if you happen to be near where it starts, you don't, but they can travel for miles and if you are far enough away from where it forms, you can have as much as 1/2 hour.
I just remember always knowing what you were supposed to do. Southwest corner of the basement (because they move from the Southwest, so you want to be where things will blow away from you). Open windows (because the change in air pressure can be almost worse than the wind). If you are out in a car, drive under an overpass and get up under the bridge as high as you can. If you aren't near an overpass find a culvert or large storm pipe to climb into. |

I think the media and some other are over reacting somewhat to Bryz's numbers so far. They keep saying that those kind of numbers will not hold up against the Rangers and the Bruins, and they are right. I counter by saying that neither the Rangers nor the Bruins can score seemingly at will like the Penguins can.
So I am not reading too much in to the amount of goals Bryz has given up. Bottom line is that he has made momentum changing saves in all three games, and that is what we will continue to need from the guy.
I will be less shocked if whoever the Flyers play in round two, that there are fewer goals scored in the entire series than there were in game 2 or 3 of this series. |

Very important to know all that stuff, you can follow it to a T, and still lose your life. I find it amazing how a tornado will destroy a structure, and literally a few hundred feet away, something will be left undamaged. |

Bruins and Rangers play more a defensive style as well. The dont give up much room in their own end and the game is slowed down imo. |

they keep it tight, and try to win on an opportunistic goal with under 10 minutes to play. i've seen it a million times this season. |

Those two teams wait till you make a mistake and turn the puck over and then break out on odd man rushes. You have to be very patient when playing those two teams. When you try to do to much you make costly mistakes. |

I think there's a fair (though small) degree of criticism one can give him for yesterday's game, but overall I agree. He's come up big at key times in the first two games, and I think if the Flyers play a less open game and actually defend that he can be a lot better for them. |

he gave up 2 bad goals yesterday, the leaky kind which are just the worst, but overall he's been good. pittsburgh has a lot of fire power, and the flyers are still without their best dman and meszaros - nobody should have had any delusions the flyers would keep them to 2 goals a game.
say what you want about bryz, he's shut the door in the 3rd period of every game, and allowed fewer goals than fleury who's been pretty lousy in his own right. the flyers are also getting goals off oddman rushes, back door plays, with shots off the post and making him move. that's how you beat goalies in this league. - hammarby31

Bryz made the series changing save on Letang in game 2. I think when he robbed the (frank) out of him it gave the Flyers life |
