Very important to know all that stuff, you can follow it to a T, and still lose your life. I find it amazing how a tornado will destroy a structure, and literally a few hundred feet away, something will be left undamaged. - PLindbergh31

Bryz made the series changing save on Letang in game 2. I think when he robbed the (frank) out of him it gave the Flyers life - bigmookalookie

This is from a Pens fan on NHL.com
Five reason why the Flyers lead:
1. The have the heart and desire to win
2. They are disciplined and not whining
3. They are not being dirty little punks
4. They have a defense
5. The don't have Cindy Crysbaby as captain

Those two teams wait till you make a mistake and turn the puck over and then break out on odd man rushes. You have to be very patient when playing those two teams. When you try to do to much you make costly mistakes. - stveshdy
i've seen more of the being in the right place at the right time puck finding the open guy, at least with the rangers. |

without a doubt. turning point of the series. sure, the flyers might have come back again from being down 3-0, but not likely. |

Both those series' have the potential to go 7. I love the intensity Ottawa is showing. They aren't going to back down. |

Where anyone gets there information to ever judge an entire fan base is beyond me. Read this article. It is currently up on the Penguins website, and really says it all. Not to mention, the radio shows blew up today, with fans everywhere demanding and apology from the Penguins to the fans themselves, the Flyers, and the League. What we have seen in this series, especially the last game, is a complete disgrace, and an atrocity to the game of hockey. I never thought I would be ashamed to be a Penguins fan, but that day has arrived, and be assured that I am not in the minority around here. |

Antti Niemi is truly a mediocre goalie.
It pisses me off that he got a cup |

But the difference is that if our team won the cup behind 3 mediocre goalies I wouldn't be complaining - Giroux_Is_God
True, true, however, if we win a cup behind this goalie I won't be complaining either. |

I want this team to win so badly. More than any team I remember seeing play. There's just something about this team. The coach has the players' backs, and the players have each others' backs. They have the drive to win day in and day out...something that we haven't seen in years. It's unwavering. And with the young guns we have...man would it be sweet.
This team is special- I've been saying it since December. |

Agreed. There is something about them. Wednesday will be the biggest test. If they shut Pitt down and finish them off. I will go ape poop and believe its the year. I f not, I will reserve that opinion. I just feel Pitt will come out focused and loose. Something they haven't been yet. |

I just want to say that if there is one defenseman that I'd pick to be on the Flyers fantasy draft style...it wouldn't be Weber. It wouldn't be Suter. It wouldn't be Chara or Letang or Yandle either.

I keep hearing that the Penguins beat themselves. It's pissing me off, Giroux is leading in goals, assists, points, and plus minus. In rookies Schenn is leading in points and assists, Coots is leading in plus/minus and goals.
Flyers have a bright future, Homer looks like a genius right now.
Also Matt Read is top 3 in each category. Epic |
