Cant wait for the Shanny decisions!
HEADS WILL ROLL!!!!
- MrBigglesworth
Spoiler...
I'm not sure Ned Stark is the best guy for the "Head's will roll" rally cry as he kinda, you know, had his own issues there... |

He's lucky he wasn't a Flyer or he would have gotten 10 games. |

here's how i saw it:
he did see goalie playing the puck. went to pressure goalie into making turnover. goalie played the puck, but completely took away any room for shaw to skate around him (probably not on purpose) and had his head down. the goalie is not fair game, but no hit was targetted just a player trying to go around but having no room |

Sid on disgruntled/embarrassed Pens fans
You know what, I think the tough part is that if they’re in this room, they’d see how much every guy cared. It’s more than one team that’s doing that stuff out there. They should have nothing to be embarrassed about. They should be pretty proud of the guys they have here.
Seriously, does this guy answer to anyone? "Proud" is the last word I'd be using after that effort. |

i think by they he meant the flyers
to respond to what he really means: all the dirty stuff and sissy stuff is being done by the black and gold not the orange and black. watch the game tape you moron any idiot can see that the pens' actions make the bad girls' club look like lifestyles of the rich and famous. classless gutless punks |

I don't know much about McGinn, Brown, or Ford.
Is Lauridsen anything more then a big body?
Manning was OK in the the brief stint here. - Marc D
anyone else have insight on why Testwuide doesn't get the call this year for the Black Aces...seems more adept to the roll he'll most likely be filling in for (4th line/checking line) also has more size and physical prowess than any of the other forwards.

Clearly he's talking about the Pens fans, not the Flyers. And he didn't say it was just being done by the Flyers either. |

I wonder how Pens fans are going to react to this. I know if Richards had said something like this after an embarrassing effort and on the verge of being swept we'd have his head. |

Ya know, I was thinking.. this year's first round violence and suspensions has seemed much worse than previous years. One reason might be that all teams saw how the Bruins won the cup in the Finals by physically intimidating the Canucks.. Many teams probably saw that and said, that's the way to win, matters escalate and then.. things have gone over the edge. |

i know what he meant, that's why i wrote the second paragraph. my point was the flyers have a lot to be proud of the flyers have played the game the right way. not the pens. when he said they it was true about the flyers, not the pens or their fans.
he said it's not just us out there doing these things. i say yes it was. the flyers only stood up for themselves. i have yet to see the flyers do one dirty thing this whole series. pens on the other hand, rampant |

I was thinking the same thing. He's risking alienating his own fan base. Maybe we'll see how they feel if it goes back to Pittsburgh. |

you are so right. that makes a lot of sense. it's sad that the officials and league lost control. |

Crosby was speaking about the Pens fans being embarrased. I agree the Pens were the instigators. |

I think there's been a couple of situations that led to the scrum's. On was Karlsson being targeted on Ottawa. And the extreme frustration of the Pens as a team. So I don't really think it was anything premeditated by teams. |

Do you think Shanahan wishes he had a do over on the Weber ruling?
If he had given Weber just a one game suspension that it might have avoided a lot of what we are seeing? |
