What time was Asham's rescheduled meeting? I think we will hear the Neal and Asham Banning at the same time, so hopefully soon. |

I have been thinking about some articles and comments made about the extra day helping/hurting the flyers. The more I think about it, the more I think it hurts them. If we had played them last night I think it would have been better. They got to go home and cool off. Now they are talking as a team and trying to figure out what to do to come back. If we had played yesterday, there may have been some rage left in them and not to mention they might have been even more worn out by the 3rd period and this series could have been over. I'm not saying they win 4 straight, which they could since they have the talent. I just think it works more in their advantage then it has for us. We want them mad, not focused. |

Its terrible. What a joke. There is zero criteria. It would of been better for Shaw to take Smith mask off , escort him to the gass and shove his head into the glass 3 times. That would only have cost $2500 . ( See Weber vs. Zetterburg , 2012) |

That's true however it doesn't change the fact that we will continue to abuse their defense. The Flyers have yet to play an all around game as well. |

I've thought about this too.. The way I see it, these are possibilities, but the tangible fact is, they will most likely be starting tomorrow without 40 goal scorer Neal, Adams and Asham. They have to replace them with lesser players and I think this hurts them. They really need to go for the jugular and win. I DO NOT want them going back to Pitt. If we make it past round one, I expect the next series to be war. |

Yes, I agree with that sediment. That is another flip of the coin. But being that I am a Philadelphia fan, I tend to go with the more bleak side since we are used to it. |

YUP , unreal.
In that instance I could see the 1st few punches but when Boyle went down he should have stopped , each puch while he was iced should have been an additional game. I hate Shannahan. |

what pisses me off about neal is that he won't even admit he was head hunting. if he watched the video of the trash he did, he'd realize how dead the (frank) wrong he is - flyerscup2011
Why would he admit it? Neal has been playing Hockey for quite a while. I'm pretty sure he knows what's right and wrong behavior on the ice.

Honestly I don't see the next round being as bad as this. I see more checking, cancelling out the stick and tighter defensive affair. No matter who it would be. However, tomorrow worries me just a little. I have seen a 3 to 0 come back from Philly and Red Sox I think. So it is possible. They have the talent. But what might be very undervalued in my thinking is......our will. This team has the will to shut them out. Completely dominate. I want to see this team come out and shut them out the first period. No goals by them. Get them thinking about the clock some. Hold them steady the second. Now in the third, the later it gets the more the wheels will come off the bus. I'm not looking for revenge. Not even a brutal smack down. I want a win. A defensive win. A regulation win. Is it too much to ask? |

3 days or 30 days. No difference.
If the Flyers stick to their game plan and Breeze gets his A game in order, I really like our chances for putting this series to bed tomorrow.

Did you see Crosby's comments today when asked about embarrassed Pens fans? Dont worry, he hasn't used this time to compose himself in the slightest. |

And if he has composed himself, well it isn't anything a few pokes from Hartnell won't remedy. |

Just saw the Shaw punishment. Ridiculous. There should also be a ban on Smith for pretending he was in mortal agony.
This might be relevant to Neal and Asham, if Shanny is trying to correct the Weber mistake by overcompensating. I won't cry if that's the case, of course. |
