I figured that. How can you know if the rule book applies if you don't know the rules? - MJL
i'm a very knowledgeable hockey fan. i don't know the letter of the law of every rule, i doubt anyone truly does. but ugliness is easy to see, you don't need a rule book to explain to you that someone did something egregious. you only need your eyes. knowing that a play is normally a penalty i.e. a crosscheck or slash helps. but it's pretty obvious when a player deserves a suspension
Its a huge pity that Alfie is not able to dress. I think he might be done for this year. Having a conky and then a 'setback' is a very bad sign. For the Sens are playing NY closer than I thought they would. And with the way things are going, if FL beats the Devils and Boston beats Caps, then we play NY next (assuming we win here), which I really don't want.
Interesting question. Mike Smith has been kept away from the media and been called a game time decision. It's been speculated that the Coyotes did that to influence the Shaw decision. That's some pretty shady pool.
Yeah, I feel that was a tad much, but it's better than Weber getting fined the bluebook value of a 1996 Ford F-150.
Asham getting an in person meeting likely means he's getting 5+ - Jsaquella
If you watch the replay Weber never smashes his face against the glass he misses. That's only worth a small fine. Shanahan gets the job done correctly.

and this stuff will continue to go on.. as will embellishing.. until the league discontinues the practice of factoring injury into discipline decisions
not saying i agree either way.. but that's the way it is
