It's a shame that Jody Shelley won't be in the line up tonight. I totally agree with MJL, I think Shelley should be inserted into the line up.

Even after things calmed down, Rinaldo still took a penalty, whether it was deserved or not. I'm glad you agree and frankly, I think it's a no brainer. I like Rinaldo a lot but his rep works against us in this sweep. Even Shelley isn't such a target for penalties.

perhaps he should have thought about playing in games 1, 2, and 3, especially 3, instead of being a punk.

Shanahan said the NHL was "willing to accept Neal's assertion" that he jumped at Couturier "to brace himself for an unintended collision."

Shanahan's decision is supposed to be based on WHAT HAPPENED, not on what the player DIDN'T INTEND TO HAPPEN. It should also be noted that Neal was fined once this season and received two warnings for incidents _ and that he was suspended three years ago for a check from behind.

That's going to bite Shanahan in the ass. The next time a repeat offender leaves his feet he'll be able to point to the Neal ruling and say that it was unintentional.
