You watching this on NBC brother? I felt like throwing up it sounded like a penguins circle jerk in the second. They must have told emerick to cut that poop out in between periods |

No, he means he's right-handed, and can't do anything at all left-handed. |

Still in the drivers seat, everyone would have signed on for a 3-1 series lead. I think the way the games are being played, and the total lack of defense and goaltending has people concerned. - PLindbergh31
agreed.
3 more chances to get their poop together. |

The shoddy defense and shaky goaltending had me concerned when it was a 3-0 series lead. |

Grossmann was hit up high by either Vitale or Kennedy in the 1st. It seemed to stun him then. I'm hoping since the game is out of hand they are relaxing on using him if he's not feeling great, but who knows. Flyers win Game 5 in Pitt. 1 loss is 1 loss, they could score 50 and it would count the same. Let's kick ass Friday |

Yes it is. It's really pretty simple. Or would you prefer that another melee happen, and risk injuries, suspensions, etc? - MJL

I don't like this. I don't like it one bit.
Yeah. It's 3 games to 1. But guess what? This team can't play D right now. It just can't be done.
Bad D equals bad goaltending. And then there's the epidemic of allowing the first goal and/or blowing that lead if we get the first goal in about 3 minutes. And against this Pens team....I just don't like it at all.
I was worried since game one about the goals against- and it finally piqued tonight.
Hopefully I'm wrong and they'll come out in Pittsburgh and play a tight game like they can and should.
Haven't we been saying that last sentence for about a week now?? |

I can't believe that the flyers did not get one PP after the 1st period. Speaks volumes of their compete level for the rest of the game.
I didn't like the extra day off. I think it was more detrimental than beneficial. - bird_dog
They packed it in at 3-2.
Couldn't hold the lead for thirty seconds. |

Do you really think both goalies are that bad? I hold both Bobrovsky and Bryzgalov in high regard. I do believe bryz to be the better goalie, at least at this stage in their careers. I thought Bryzgalov was worse in the last game than this. In this game I thought he didn't get much help and neither did Bob. The coverage just isn't there and against a team like the pens that is fatal. |

It's not that bad man. The Flyers weren't even supposed to win this series. - JoeRussomanno
I couldn't find the sarcasm smiley. 10-3 is so bad that it's likke a non played game. Pens shot their load I think. If the flyers can play a full game WITH energy they can take game 5.
With Bryz in net I predict a 4-3 OT win. Hartnell gets his first goal of the playoffs. |

Yes this team can play Defense. They shut down the Pens in 2 3rd periods in this Series when they had to. No reason to overreact.

The team hasn't played well defensively in front of Bryzgalov, but Bryzgalov has also allowed a good amount of soft goals. That has to stop Joe. It's the same thing we have been seeing for years. Flyers invested a ton of money to fix it, and it hasn't worked thus far.
Turris! Oh baby.... |

That's what I'm thinking. My wife is more pissed about this than me and she only started following the sport like last year The Flyers haven't ever been a big sweep franchise. Sweeping a team like the pens is tough. |

At least the Sens won. Turris of all people scorches King Henrik. Hank looked a lot like Bob did on the Sullivan goal.
