They said on TSN Grossman got concussed. I didn't even see the hit. Big, big loss if it's true moving forward. - canadianpenfan
ruh roh.
yeah, I remember a big hit he had in the 1st. He looked like he was skating in sand the rest of the game. |

That ones iffy.
I loved that timeout btw, message sent. - canadianpenfan
Too bad he didn't think to call timeout after a 3rd period icing in game 2 with the score tied. |

That's a lot of ice that could be freed up now in front of those already shaky goalies |

I think about 15 minutes into the 1st? Pretty early on ... not sure if it was Kennedy or not, but he got walloped. |

They still have a pulse. I'm glad they didn't lay down and throw in the towel tonight. I didn't think they would but after the three brutal losses they could have easily have done that. Plus they didn't buckle when Philly took the leads in the first. Nice to see them storm right back with such a decisive victory that might put some pressure on the Flyers. Hopefully Fleury came out of this game with some confidence which he desperately needs if the Pens have any chance of getting back into this series. One game at a time.
Happy Birthday Ref! |

MAF looked pretty solid after the 1st two goals. A few nice saves as well.
Flyer goalies looked shaky for each and every one of those 60 minutes. |

I was meaning the effect losing Grossman would have on the Flyers 2, but yes, MAF had a good game, his glove side was better and was using the poke check, which shows me he was more aggressive tonight. Maybe that means he found himself tonight, finally |

He is day to day as of now. Kennedy hit him. and that would be a big loss for them, for sure - ryman1566
Really????

well, I just read this on the Rangers board ... shortly after the Sens won in OT:
for some reason this made feel a bit better about tonight's Flyer embarrassment.

MAF even did the windmill glove save and was smiling that big old horse smile of his.

Ah...I missed that. Did he leave the game? It was such an odd game I didn't think anything of him being out and didn't here Pierre mention it. |

You need to let it go. Enjoy the win and show some confidence, I feel 100 times better than I did 4 hours ago. Long way to go but at least we have reason to be a little optimistic. I'm telling you, if the Pens come out on Friday and take it to them the pressure mounts and the sticks get gripped a little tighter. |

the good news for the Flyers is that it's next to impossible for a team to come back from a 3 zip hole.
the bad new for the Flyers is that a LOT of teams have come back from a 3 - 1 hole.

So far no one can really pinpoint when it exactly did happen, so there is no war going on about a dirty hit so far. |
