the good news for the Flyers is that it's next to impossible for a team to come back from a 3 zip hole.
the bad new for the Flyers is that a LOT of teams have come back from a 3 - 1 hole.
- FlyerGuy
But the good news is that not many have come back from 3-0. |

You need to let it go. Enjoy the win and show some confidence, I feel 100 times better than I did 4 hours ago. Long way to go but at least we have reason to be a little optimistic. I'm telling you, if the Pens come out on Friday and take it to them the pressure mounts and the sticks get gripped a little tighter. - canadianpenfan
Yeah. I know. Breathe...exhale. It's gone. I enjoyed seeing them play with a pulse tonight. It was evident they came to play when they were killing that 4-3 in the 1st. You could tell the light was on. Then they took over. And I agree. If they win Friday. It's on. Especially if MAF plays well in the win and Bryz looks like the typical post-season version of Bryz. Though, I would not be shocked to see Bob in net Friday night.

He kept playing, but only had around 10 minutes of ice if I recall proper - ryman1566
If I remember correctly he was still on the bench during the game but didn't play. The philly announcers kept saying he got hit in the jaw. So who knows.
I doubt the flyers let him sit on the bench if he was possibly concussed.
Hoping they were just resting his knees. That would be a big loss losing Grossmann for any stretch. |

There's a reason they say the 4th one is the hardest to get. Especially when you're playing a team as talented as this one. |

Flyers Grossman out with a concussion. More to come.
Edit: Just to clarify, I'm laughing at Ek not the injury. |

I want to respond but I no understand you. Vitale hit him? - canadianpenfan
there are posts on the Flyers thread that Vitale hit him. But I don't remember any late or dirty hits tonight ... other than Rinaldo's idiocy. |

It will be interesting to see how the youth on the Flyers react. Leading your team to a comeback win down 3-0 in game 1 is not the same as closing out a desperate and talented team.
Even in the first period, except for flopping, Courturier was invisible, along with Schenn. |

Ok now it makes sense. Just another Flyer fan looking to blame someone in a loss. I'm sure he was OK with the penalties in the first though. Plus, i don't need to see it to tell it wasn't dirty, someone would have done that for us a long time ago. |

he'd BETTER be pissed off. there was a LOT to be pissed off about.
I actually don't think DB took a timeout to piss off Lavy. I think it was more of a "okay, we got a big lead but I still want to see solid positional play out there." Just to make sure no bad habits creep into the Pens play. |
