Should have at least been 4-5 games..

Today is 'undulating green' day throughout Ontario. The irons will be getting their approach workouts.

those aren't even comparable. 8 games for "After the horn sounded signaling the end of the period....." At that point there is no need to watch any more of either video.

No one is going to suggest the disciplinary process is consistent, but you can't compare these two hits. One occurred in the course of play. The other took place after the horn...not just after the whistle..but after the horn.

id be saying anything i could to make myself feel better after my team let in 10 goals in a playoff game with a goalie you just signed for how many years at how much? lol this has EPIC FAIL written all over it!

We also dealt with a 17 gamer to Cooke without much complaining either. And 4 to Asham, and even the 1 for Adams.

So if we want to get into diver trade offs, the 3 calls the Flyers 'earned' at the spot that it was a 2-1 game. No embelishment there, right?? Also a hook to Giroux's hands causes him to snab his head back like he got hit with a jab. Hartnell tucks Cooke's stick in to his armpit and jerks it upward to make it look like a high stick.

We could do this back and forth crap all day.

I was just asking a question -- a simple yes or no would've done . we need to start throwing sneaky elbows to the heads of the pens like your boy shrek. he gets away with a lot out there.

It's hard to not get excited.

Good things:
1) 10 goals, and Bryz's foot is still bothering him. When asked about it after game, he said something like we don't talk about injuries. If it was fine, you'd think he'd say so.
2) Pens defense tightened up
3) Fleury settled down

Still scared about:
1) Pens PK still bad
2) Lavi is a good coach and will make adjustments
3) Pens can't relax one little bit

they had a huge lead -- anybody would play relaxed and well during that stretch of time. huge game friday night -- flyers need to earn it, not expect the win.

If the Malkin hit was so bad shouldn't Grossmann have left the game then, instead of playing another period or so...

That´s not even debatable since automatic suspension bc of instigator in final five minutes of game..

And as for Cooke... are you really being serious that you want to defend the guy after all his behavior?? I would be ashamed of having him on any team I´d support.. He is one of the reasons for the end of Savard´s career, has single-handedly tried to end careers of a few other players as well.. The guy´s just sad..

I don't need to make myself feel better; I feel fine. I have no control over the Flyers' personnel moves. I'm watching the team I root for playing a game. Win or lose, it doesn't make a difference in my day-to-day.

He's no Raffi Torres.

The Caps exposed Malkin some in 24/7 when they showed how he commits a penalty when he is hit/bumped etc. And he does need to learn to skate away at times for sure. Much better this year than previous ones. But I was pissed when he took that penalty off the faceoff at the beginning last night.

So you want the Pens to be held to the respect standard, but fail to mention the 10,000 other incidents that have taken place this last week and a half? What's good for one is good for all. Until the league disarms the situations by getting serious about punishments, no team should be held over another in any higher regard.
