I think it is a restaurant.
It is:http://www.cioppinoofpittsburgh.com/----in the strip district.

- Rawdog9755

Good place for a pregame burger and a beer. You can park close to the restaurant and walk to the arena. no post game traffic

Thx,

So when I win, you want the GNC or the Cioppino?

So did I, we really need to huddle over these questions before hand.

My question is, what is Cioppino? (too lazy to google it)

- ryman1566

I try to guess the lower profile players so that if you guess right, you will stand a better chance to win the prize. Today was Dupuis for me, although he is not as much of a low profile (10% picked him). Should have gone with Park or Vitale.

that's not accurate at all. I've seen dozens of objective posts from Flyer fans over the past couple of days.
- FlyerGuy

I can count the objective Flyer posts with four fingers. Sorry, one thing that is a given is there are very few objective Flyer fans. One thing that I have noticed, they all have very short memories and forget what their nickname is; where it came from and how they earned that nickname. The way Flyer fans have chirped off their rants with the sanctimonious BS, but forget the fact this type of play was not only built by the Flyers themselves; utilized frequently over their existance, but applauded by the Flyer fan base. Now, when its used on them, you cry. Very hypocritical fan base if I ever saw it.

Doesnt matter to me, I dont live in Pitt anymore and would most likely be throwing both giftcards on ebay.
Maybe we can cut a deal where if one of us wins we will sell both and split the profits.

I tried that last time and only 6% chose Staal. I still didnt win.

The Washington Capitals' statement on Backstrom's suspension: "We disagree with the NHL’s decision to suspend Nicklas Backstrom. This has been a competitive and physical series, and we do not understand why a suspension was imposed in this case while other incidents in this series have not been reviewed. Our singular focus now is on Game 4, and we look forward to the energy that our great fans provide."

Of course they disagree... I'm sure they would also publicly disagree if Peverley cross checked Backstrom in the face and got a one game suspension.

/sarcasm

- rival22

Backstrom's hit was certainly worthy of the game suspension -- the problem is, as everyone has discussed for months (and more recently with the playoffs, the lack of discipline for Weber), that there is no consistency with any of this.

judging from some of the subjective, hysterical, ranting posts YOU'VE written over the past week or so I'm not so sure you should be throwing stones.

Do or die tonight, I for one have come to embrace all the bulletin board material the Pens have recieved via the media, arrogant Flyer comments, the neverending 3rd grade treatment of Sid. It maybe the only thing capable of making this team play the way they know they can.

One at a time.

I actually won 1 time through pens txt messaging. The first year they made the playoffs when they got destroyed by Ottawa, I won 2 tickets for the 1st home game. I will never forget it was my bday and txt came through while the phone was in my hand(back then there was none of this be the 7656 responder, it was first person to respond wins). I quickly responded and got my txt back that I won a minute or two later. Now that was an awesome bday present, although the Pens did end up losing the game.

Also, everyone is just a little over it all right now given the uneven play we've been subjected to watching and seeing a team acting so far outside of what has become normal in Pit. It's been a spectacular implosion--nothing short of Gong Show-like quality.

There hasn't been anything positive to talk about since the Anthem for Game 1.

- akane13

I am laughing and crying at the same time.

Ok...not really crying...that was for dramatic affect.

I just hope they can manage to play one full game the way they CAN.

Even if they play that way and lose, which they very well might...just so we can start to rebuild a little of the reputation.

I know Crosby and Mario and others have taken the brunt of the haters and we all are subjected to hearing about all the things we have done wrong recently...which by some accounts are many...but buried beneath all of this is a good hockey team that needs to find it's way out of this mess.

I don't care who says what about our players and our owner...but I do care when I, as a long time fan, question some of those things myself.

So, for selfish reasons entirely...I just want them to play a game tonight we can all be proud of.

There will still be detractors and haters...but WE will know if they play that game.
