The thing I love most about my job, (when I'm not crippled) is each day is not a continuation of the day before if that makes sense... Every day is fresh with new experiences, people, etc... Oh and chicks dig cops too! - PLindbergh31

@TSNBobMcKenzie Yeah, Read said he wasn't surprised to be left out of Calder because of his age (25). "That's the way it should be," he said.
Matt Read is awesome. - KGBflyers10

One of the cops who responded when a guy tried to break into my apt one night (many years ago, different neighborhood) wore a little handcuff tie clip. I found it very sexy. And the detective who brought me home from central detectives that night belonged on TV...mmmmm.
(The bad guy was convicted of causing terror at night and sent back to prison--he was on probation following doing time for rape. eep!) |

Remember the identity of this team. Don't forget that. These guys will be ready to play tonight. They are not last year's or the 2010 team. They got their selves in a bind the other night, but you know what? It's a learning curve. This is a young team. They got blown out at home and they were embarrassed.
Won't happen again. Pens can start getting out their golf clubs tonight. - KGBflyers10
Rather face adversity with a 3-0 lead than down 2-1, thats for sure. This team will laern from this and hopefully smash this dirty Pens team. I need to end this series so we can talk honestly about what a bunch of goons and junk they are without the stigma or being a "sore loser". End it.
Big game outta Hartsy. |

the options of being able to use a real gun, a stun gun - either taser or rubber bullets, or an attack shepard on a daily basis must bring SOME excitement when you report for duty. - hammarby31
It's awesome, a few months ago I pulled over this girl who was let's just say exceeding the speed limit by a couple mph's, after discussing this with her she told me she wanted me to use my handcuffs on her.... it takes tremendous discipline sometimes.... it really does. |

I did not expect Matt Read to win the Calder Trophy but had outside hope he'd at least be in the top three of the balloting. Finalists are Landeskog, Henrique, and Nugent-Hopkins. In all honesty, the right choices.
With the time RNH missed, I think Landeskog won the ballot. But we'll see. - bmeltzer
Really Bill?
With that statement, I guess you could say Lindross should be automatic to the HHOF with the title of greatest player to ever play. If not for his injuries, right?
Read led the league in scoring and hasn't backed off in the playoffs. I don't care what future projections you may hold, its what you produced today. I find this frustrating. |
