Just saw the video of Giroux teasing the fans, I wouldnt care, but it would explode if Crosby did it and how he has no class. That being said in 09 when the Pens played teh Flyers I was at one of the first 2 home games and pretty close to where the Flyers warmed up. There was a lil kid in a Crosby jersey up at the glass and Richards tried about 10 pucks to get through the net and finally got the kid a puck. That kid wil remember that forever. After all its just a game.

Was it me or should both teams have been called for too many men at least twice in that game?
- buffalofan19

the refs were horrible, they missed calls behind the play all game on both sides... at one point orpik was just pinning someone by flower after the player slashed orpiks stick up high... i guess those even out lol..

its so different watching the refs screw up live then on tv...

Game notes:

Staal's line was unbelievable. They kept it simple and it paid off big time. Wish the top two lines would do the same and stop with the fancy crap.

MAF, played the game of his life, no doubt a bout it.

The fans. My ears are still ringing. It gave the team a lift. The Fleury chanting clearly gave him a lift.

Tha was one of the most amazing games I have ever witnessed. This team has a ton of heart. Sunday is the game. If they can win in Philly, and I believe they can, game 7 would be a nightmare for Philly. In a game 7 all the pressure would be on them for letting it get there, it really wooud. So who is gonna win game 6?

No idea but boy I am happy to say I now 'officially' like our chances! Lets Go Pens! Gotta BELIEVE.

That stood out even watching it on TV. Best crowd the new barn has had since it opened. They were in it from the moment the doors opened.

Uh Huh you know what it is Pens in 7 Pens in 7 Pens in 7! Guess I have to not wash this outfit again and wear it tomorrow. I'm going to smell bad by the next round. Great game last night. That was more of what I was expecting in this series. 50 goals scored in 5 games. That's just cra

crap playing at noon on nbc... we dont have a good record for that...

2012- record 2 (wash,bos)-3 (phi, phi, buf), both wins were at home
2011- record 0-4 (wash,wash,chi,nyr), 1 was classic, 2 were at 1230, 1 was at 330
2010- record 2 (phi,det)-1 (wash), 1 win was at home, the other ended in SO, the lost was OT
2009- record was 1 (nyr)-3 (det, wash, phi), win was at home

so it looks like we are:
5-11 all time on sundays

1-3 vs phi on sunday afternoon games on nbc
0-3 vs phi when in phi....

time to break the cycle...LETS GO PENS!!!

Surprisingly, in an ongoing poll on http://Philly.com, about 74% of the 1,200 voters now think the #Pens will beat #Flyers in 7.

Nobody - and I mean NOBODY...turns on their teams like Philly. It's humorous.

Of course, a sample of 1200 people is quite small. Read a few comments in the philly.com sports section will give you a good idea of who is voting. I's worse than here.

Kubina's gotta be hurt. Lilja's just not that good.

It's also way too many minutes for the top 4 to cover, using those two so sparingly.

Yeah we tend to do it here pretty quickly as well but nothing compares to Philly fans. Especially on their goalies.

I'm not sure if anyone has noticed but Jordan Staal is a man. He has been lights out this year and this series. I thought Crosby played well in our end and I thought Geno fell apart a bit at times but that line generated some good chances. Our PP is clicking at 33% and is a distant second in this series

Red wings are hosting Winter Classic, I would be shocked if he retired.

Oh yeah, and go Pens!

Just get it to game 7 ...

- Gunner Staal

We beat them 5 on 5. Their pp is really clicking right now. Got to find a way to play with ferocity and intensity but control it and not take dumb penalties. If we stop taking dumb penalties we can win the next one and game 7.

Staals line was clearly the best line last night. They kept it simple, dummp and chase, cycle and kept their feet moving. The top two lines could take a lesson!!

Philly scored first last night right? Clearly the game plan should be to give up the 1st one and then start playing. Teams scoring 1st are 0-5
