It has been done before, and it will be done again.
A team this year could come back from down 3-0. One game at a time, you can't win 3 games in one night.
But, the Halifax Moose just put out Patty Roy's team in the Q after being down 3-0 and the Pens have the team to do it as well. - bixll
Watched that game on Eastlink, It's too bad the sea dogs are probably the best CHL team in Canada or they could get into the memorial cup this year! Good news is the entire team will be back next year minus Randall, I might have to grab season tickets. |

The Pens mindset shouldn't be that they're coming back from 3 - 0 ... in fact, they need to come back from 3 - 1. Lots of teams have done exactly that.
As far as the game goes, I can think of only ONE result that will surprise us all. Only ONE result will get us to say "how the hell did THAT happen?"
And that result is:
1 - 0

1-0 in overtime with fleury and bob making at least 40 saves each |

5 minute incraments that's all boys. Every shift matters. I predict Flyers come out absolutely flying and Fleury has to make a few big saves to keep us in it. After the first 5 minutes it settles down and off we go. This is where I'd typically predict like a 3-2 win for the Pens but I honestly have no clue. this is the most confusing series ever. |

No OT. Someone will win by a field goal. These are two potent offenses and D is almost an afterthought. Kind of like ordering something real expensive on the menu that is so delicious. Then you reach for your wallet and come up empty. That is how defense is treated in this series. Ooooops there goes another one in, ooooops there goes another one! Rinse, lather and repeat. |

I pray Molinari is wrong. Geno on the PP point...nyet. That's pretty close to spotting Philly a shortie before the game starts. Hoping a real NHL hockey game with goalies breaks out at some point tonight. |

They went through multiple setups on the PP today at practice, that was just one of them. |

Nisk has looked decent back there when he has gotten the chance. I wouldn't mind seeing Sullivan and Tang then Nisk and (insert name other then Malkin here). |

This series has been so crazy I have no idea what to expect. The Flyers not having Grossmann in the lineup is huge. I expect the Pens to come out flying and the Flyers to take some early penalties. Just hope the defense and goaltending can keep them in the game tonight. |

interesting.
Not that it matters from the forward perspective. Crosby, Malkin, or Staal will be on the ice every shift, even if it is with the 4th line wingers. No chance that one of them isn't out there every time the forwards go over the boards.
Scoring first tonight is huge for the Pens. It's going to be mportant to play with a lead and keep the crowd into the game. - akane13
just like in the first four games huh? but yeah I agree, if the Pens score first, puts more doubt in the flyers heads. should be a good one. what's everyone drinking/where's everyone watching? |
