Giroux's early hit might have taken any fight Crosby may have had right out of him.

That was about as good of a game as they could have played today.
I think not getting blown out in Game 5 after the Pens took the lead went a huge way to stabilizing some things. |

There was never at any point, any real doubt that the Flyers were going to win this Series. On to the next round. |

Probably the best team game of the year in the biggest game to date. 40 blocked shots, solid game from Bryz, and Giroux put the team on his back and set the tone in the first 30 seconds. - PLindbergh31
what a smart, simple, fantastic effort today. they had some soft clearing attempts and got pinned in a bit, but they kept everything to the outside.
giroux is the (frank)ing man. snaggle-tooth ginger. hand him the "c". |

You think they just wanted to put an extra couple mil in Mr Snyder's pocket. |

Flyers negated any questions about Bryz by playing a magnificent defensive game. If he can get his head on straight, they will be a tough out. Later. |

If the 2006 draft was held today Giroux does not go #22. |

Thanks EF. Don't really like your team but I thought the posters here were reasonable and contributed to the quality of discussions. |

It's a playoff Series against a top opponent. It was never going to be a sweep. The Pens are far too good of a team for that. I have to say I'm extremely disappointed in some of the fans, and the lack of support they showed. It made me laugh to read some of the comments. The Flyers were in control of this Series from game 1.
