Yea, that's the key. Hopefully both he is fully healthy for next week and our D continues to tighten it up and block shots. - LordStanley88
I believe the earliest the Flyers can start their series is Friday. Not 100% sure though. |

I want to know how in the (frank) a kid with Giroux's skill set and intangibles didn't get much love from the scouts. It's unreal that we were able to grab him at the end of the first.
Maybe more important than all of his skill and speed is his heart. He's a grade A competitor and a determined son of a bit**. It's amazing to watch. |

Today's game was one of the better for the team. What a great way to end the series. |

They didn't start until the weekend last year I believe. NBC will likely want us on national TV, so I'd bet on a Saturday start. |

Basically because he's not a big guy. The old cliche is you can't measure a guy's heart, and it's true with Giroux. He has the skill, heart, and will to win that has taken him to the top of the sport. |

Crosby doesn't like him. He doesn't like him one bit. |

Yea, but Patrick Kane went #1 overall. He's smaller than Giroux. |

Every extra day helps. I'm hoping Grossmann is ready to go for round 2. With the emergence of Gustafsson, Flyers can have a solid backend. If they get Meszaros and MAB back as well Laviolette will have lots of options. |

I bet the guy who was happiest with today's win was Grossmann. Another week off will do him good.

Size. That's my only guess. Got to remember, at best, Giroux was second on the Flyers list. They supposedly had at least Bobby Sanguinetti ahead of him, and according to a few reporters in Canada, they really liked Trevor Lewis.
Sanguinetti has bounced up and down in the AHL and ECHL, and Lewis is just starting to show that he can be a full time NHLer.
Giroux is leading the NHL in playoff scoring. |

As an object in his rearview mirror, getting smaller and smaller. |

Mez just wants to have a chance to play again too. I forget sometimes he's already made a trip to the finals with Ottawa. It's nice he has that experience already |

Clarke's fall is actually much more comparable to Couturier's. |

Only other guess I have is that Giroux played in the Q, which is a more offense minded league. |

yeah, they're getting some chances ... but it looks like a Kings goal is inevitable.
Vancouver always looks soft to me, not sure how they got to the finals. |
