Luongo in Toronto?
That's honestly the dumbest rumor that has been making its way across the hockey world. Not a chance.
He'll be back in Florida most likely, only this time in Tampa Bay.
EDIT: New Jersey is a possibility too. Still think they get Bernier though. |

not at all. i'm 3 for 4 in my picks so far. i have a feeling at least one of these teams that's trailing 3-2 will come back. - hammarby31
I'm perfect in the West, but the East is another story. Picked Phoenix too.
Had the following:
STL vs. LA (LA in 6)
NSH vs. PHX (NSH in 5)
NSH vs. LA (NSH in 6)
Don't want to discuss my East because I hope none of it comes true. |

Yea, but wouldn't you take the team with the advantage in goal in this situation?
I like LA's chances. - LordStanley88
St Louis had the better goaltending-allowed the fewest goals per game all year long. |

St. Louis had the better team defense in the regular season, but my point is that since both of these teams are so defensive oriented and very effective at their respective, yet similar styles, wouldn't you pick the team with the better goalie?
I think just about anyone would take Quick over Elliot, and that's not a knock on the latter. |

I must say, there is still a lot of hockey left in this team--but...
Can we call this season a success already? I mean taking out the Pens--almost in a sweep?
Feels good, man. |

What a fantastic feeling it is to wake up knowing the Pens have been knocked out of the playoffs and your team is the reason.
Nothing can be said to fully articulate how great G was this series. He took on the "two best players in the world" and damn near outscored them both combined! For all the kids out there looking for a player to emulate, there isnt a better choice than G.
Also have to give serious props to Gus as well as the other already lauded rookies. Gus looked look a future star in yesterday's game. He made perfect reads, smart plays, great passes, played so well when he was matched against Malkin, and had the balls to jump up with the puck and fire that sneaky wrister that really seemed to be the backbreaker. Fantastic game. Edit: almost forgot his team leading SEVEN BLOCKED SHOTS!!
Lastly and most importantly. Paul Holmgren. This guy didn't like something about the team had designed over the past few years so he made a huge decision. What an amazing decision that has turned out to be!!!

Very happy dappy this morning. Loved Lava referring to G as the best player in the world in the post game podium yesterday. Hee. The passing of the torch? No, the ripping of the torch out of the hands of the previous owner by someone who refuses to be denied. Love that gingerbeard boy.
