if you look at the trade as Kassian and Grags for Hodgson, Foligno, and Sulzer (who is pretty darn good himself!) then we completely wrecked couver in this trade!

Simpson's is a generation thing. If you weren't at the right age when it came out then you missed it. Lisa's cupcake experiment was one of the best moments in that show's history. Not crude enough for today's audience.

Pound for pound this was a good hockey trade, both teams addressed needs and the respective center pieces are likely to pay dividends.

The only thing I don't get about it is timing: why Gillis felt he had to make that move at that time with his team playing the role of presumptive favorite is a head scratcher to me.
