it ruins it for the valid posts that should be reported cause they get lost in all the crap.
And thus the creation of the "ignore" button. |

Can Jersey afford Luongo and re-sign Parise?
That team is supposedly in financial trouble, do they want another 10 year commitment in addition to Kovalchuk's? - GoneFullRetard
its one or the other for them. |

It's hilarious... used to go to Leaf/Sabre games in Buff all the time. If they won they are taunting us on the way out about 40 years, 67..... and if they lose they are taunting about 40 years 67. How original. They shut up pretty quick when you remind them that they are 3 years behind the Leafs in their drought. - burn
Or then it defaults to the "yeah but at least we've been to the cup final"
Cause we all know that making it to the cup final is almost the same as winning the cup...lots of dynasties for teams that made it to the finals and won nothing.

I'd hate to be the GM in NJ in 6 years with Luongo and Kovalchuk still sitting on the books for another few years. |

I doubt BB will pickup Luongo.
Not to say he won't make an offer, but I think BB will more or elss reluctantly go into this fiasco at Nonis' insistance, and offer a relatively small package which won't be accepted.
I have a feeling NJ would make the most sense. They'll give them their own first this year, a mid-level prospect, and if they don't believe they can sign Parise, they'll give VAN negotiating rights to Zach leading up to July 1st. If Parise signs, then there'd be a conditional 1st coming back NJs way.
TB would offer their first along with Malone.
CHI and DET are outside shots. I don't think DET is willing to part with anymore picks now that they already gave up a first for Quincey and are getting long in the tooth at virtually every position.
Crawford, a first and Frolik would be my best guess for CHI's package |

Come on dude...let's compare some Leafs vs. Canucks stats
Cup wins in the last 40 years
Leafs - 0
Canucks - 0
Target acheivment this year:
Leafs - make the playoffs
Canucks - win the cup
Actual acheivement accomplished:
Leafs - missed the playoffs terribly with a lottery pick
Cancuks - out in 5 games to the 8th seed
Sounds like the past 40 years and this year have been equally "short" on accomplishments for both teams.
You can put all the seasonings you want on a rice cake (leafs and canucks past 40 years of accomplishments)...in the end it's still not a bacon cheeseburger (stanley cup). - Juice

How do you know Burke has a small package?
I don't think Tampa offers their first this year + Malone.
I said last night Malone + 2nd would be the most they would offer. It might be the most Vancouver gets.

I didn't ignore them.
I've just discussed them so many times on these boards I look for new things to talk about, besides comparing leafs/nucks yet again.
So redundant and boring. |

Oh the ignore button has come up several times in discussions, unfortunately it doesn't do the refs any good, still have to read the posts.
This is for ignoring a poster so you don't see their comments. Not on reported posts. |

So you decided to mention the leafs short comings only days after your team fell signifigantly short of it's goal? Sounds like you're pretty sick of discussing it alright.
Were you expecting an applause for uncovering unknown facts about the leafs? |

If we could get Kesler coming back the other way along with Luongo I'd be more open to getting into the Luongo sweeps:
Grabs
Mac
Kadri
2013 first
2012 2nd
Oh, and a salary dump, one of Komi, Lombo or Connolly
Not to say I think Kesler is on the block or anything, as he was injured n ear the end of the season, but I wonder how long it takes for VAN fans to turn on him.
What we could do afterwards is try use our 5th along with Reimer and see if there's anyway we could move up to 2nd in the draft by enticing CBJ, then select Forsberg |

Go back and read.
Completely sarcastic joke attempt.
"Just giving the leafs fans what they're used to"
No specifics or contrasts. Just silliness
Didn't you just make a comment about people being overly sensitive?
P.S. Bold totally unintentional, computer messing up. |

Not being sensitive at all...was just questioning your intentions.
If I was being sensitive you wouldn't be posting right now cause you'd be in a time out....that would be me being sensitive.
PS - nope, your bolded letters mean you're yelling at me, I'm offendend forever now. |

it was the idiot posters fault for trying to converse in other threads though Juice....common...the poster needs to realize that they must only post within their own teams thread, or EK's thread if it has any relation to their team.
- noename09
That's exactly it...if you are not a fan of the teams blog you're in and say one bad thing it gets flagged.
Then again, it's the playoffs and emotions are high. I dunno about you but I forget what that feels like. |

there should be no question he dosnt. Lou will do EVERYTHING he can to make sure he signs....Parise isnt a star player. Parise is a franchise player. They can address goaltending through trade or draft, but they need to keep Parise unless a GM is willing to overpay to compensate. |
