Yes

You defending Luongo in that tourney is laughable.

That's ok. Not everybody in here understands the game. Go sit with the other pink hat's in the crowd and look forward to seeing the cute mascot, catching yourself on the jumbotron, and maybe, just maybe, you'll get to do "The wave" to complete your night. The rest of us will go watch, and understand, what's going on out on the ice.

Wait, we are talking about the same thing right?

Oh right. The "Vancouver got to the Finals in SPITE of Luongo" argument. Just like Canada won gold in spite of him.

Yeah...Luongo crumbles under "Vancouver pressure"

In Montreal, he will crap his pants and set himself on fire.

Not to mention the ridiculous contract.

No thanks, I'd rather keep the 3rd overall pick

Way too long winded.

It has been reduced to TP

or even just P if you are in a hurry.

Insulting me. If that doesn't prove that Team Canada managed to win despite Luongo I don't know what does. Great points. Well thought out and very convincing. Conveniently from a Bruins fan too.

Never happened before, right?

You would make the playoffs with Lou.

It's a good feeling, if you remember.

- Mattjd123

One thing to remember also ,if Lu had a decent D in front of him it might make a difference.Vancouve has 4x #3 defensmen.Luongo has never had the luxury of a solid D in front of him.

Exactly. Montreal and Toronto would be the worst places to send someone so fragile when it comes to the media and pressure.

Good luck moving that contract too. You may as well take Dipietro back in return

Mad that the Canucks don't have Optimus Reim? YES! He's going to be the first goalie to win the Vezina and the Art Ross in the same year. And maybe the Super Bowl too.

I never even thought of that.

It is so true. The moment he gets traded the future will suddenly be blindlingly bright.

The Vancouver idiot on the fan590 also sounded this morning like he was afraid to publicly undervalue Lolongo... it is almost like the fanbase is trying to do some selling job ... as if the GM's are going to base their offers on the opinions expressed on hockeybuzz.com.

You tell me I don't know anything about hockey, yet you don't think anyone would want Luongo. The ironing is delicious.

The owners expect them to win but the media and fan base don't expect them to win.

A contract until he's in his early 40's for a goalie who does really well in the regular season, but is regularly the weakest link in crunch time?

Yeah, I'm sure teams will be tripping over themselves for his services.

It will be like the Peyton Manning watch all over again

Come to think of it, he'd fit well with the Leafs.
