Although I was rooting for the Panthers, I'd honestly rather face the Devils D than Florida's after watching that series. Gudbranson and Kulikov are keepers, and Campbell was a stud all series long.
Congrats to the Devils though. Great series. - LordStanley88
Kulikov was real shaky the last game. The Devils D had trouble once the Devils stopped forechecking. The key to our game is we forecheck and relieve the pressure off the D.

Well, we're a much better forechecking team than the Devils. It's essentially our identity in Laviolette's system.
I think the Devils will struggle against our depth to find sustained offensive pressure.

I know. There's where we might have problems. The Panthers speed gave us A LOT of problems. Hopefully we get a bit of a break. I doubt we play Saturday, probably Sunday. They will definitely try to give the Devils a two day break, or at least I hope.

Good luck with that. Four scoring lines. That is how Philly rolls. Now didn't someone tell you to hit the bricks

There's another problem. The Flyers have as much speed, if not more, as the Florida. Just ask Pittsburgh.
Flyers-Devils games are always great and you just never know with the playoffs, so I'm looking forward to the series.

First we face the Pens, then the Devils, then the Rangers just to make it bitter sweet. Then we face the Kings to kick around Carter and Richards. - roenick97
Don't you think you should focus on the task at hand before you start contemplating later scenarios?

Don't count out the Caps. They had the Rags number all season.

I know. That's the nervous part. Whatever the case may be, hopefully it's a good series. Gionta's midget self will probably be tossed around like a ragdoll though.

Well best of luck, because up and down the lineup the Flyers are faster than the Panthers.

Especially in the playoffs, I did predictions for money. And I picked Devils/Flyers and Caps/Rangers. Because it was for money, I picked the Flyers, and I picked the Caps for the ECF. Got the WCF right with the exception of Canucks, but can still get a Blues/Preds WCF.

Brian, Meet Mr. Grossmann.
Just tell Volchenkov to take it easy with the elbows. Aiight.

Yeah, primary hate has been for Pitt since 2006 or so...but I can dredge up some late 90s/early 2000s animosity for the devils, no problem. - Lexington Flyer
it's so weird looking at those years. Gosh I was in Highschool when the Flyers played Brodeur and the devils for the first time in the Playoffs.
