Ya, you hit the nail on the head in regards to fans of certain teams. I could not help but think that if this was the "most hated team" in hockey's fans that tweeted this how it would be justified to have such a title given to them. Even more so if Ward played for Vancouver,........ !

Seems like Ty made the connection in the blog. Just like Canucks fans had to unfairly bare the shame of the riots, Bruins fans are going to get flak for this outburst. Where Ty is trying to brush it off, franticlad is saying (perhaps not all that succinctly) the stigma isn't that easy to erase.

It actually seems like you are also trying to take the opportunity to get in some digs at a rival.
