This Kreider guy really rubs me the wrong way....don't know why.
Maybe it's because he gets a whole lot of attention...deserved or not |

If Holtby doesn't elevate his game, this series may be over in 5. |

Rangers won 3-1 with 14 shots on net.
I think that says it all. |

Guess we'll have to see, but 2 GWGs in 6 games(all playoff games), a WJC goal medal, 2 college championships and a supposedly faster skater than Hagelin, I would say he's got a pretty good shot at being a good player |

James van Riemsdyk is projected to start the second round on a line with Jakub Voracek and Danny Briere. van Riemsdyk returned from a foot injury on April 20, but he got very little ice time in that contest or Game 6 when the Flyers won their series. He's had another week to recover since Philadelphia's last game, so he should get significantly more playing time on Sunday.

Interesting tidbit.
DeBoer separated Kovalchuk and Parise in practice, but has not yet committed to these lines.
Ponikarovski-Zajac-Kovalchuk
Parise-Elias-Zubrus
Sykora-Henrique-Clarkson
Carter-Gionta-Bernier
Seems like DeBoer is trying to stop both Parise and Kovalchuk from potentially getting negated by Couturier's line, making the Flyers have to choose which one to check. Or he might be trying to get balanced scoring, and get Elias/Zubrus going. |
