Great blog and a good game.
Has become a small habit to follow OEL and the Coyotes now. The only problem with it all is the lack of sleep. The game started at 2am swedish time.

If Gormley can continue to develop I'd poop my pants over an OEL-Gormley pairing. That would be nuts.

No.
Phoenix and Nashville are both boring defensive teams because I think sorta kinda someone might have told me one time that maybe Tippet and Trotz play a "defensive-first trap" therefore every game is going to be 1-0 or 2-1.
Mike Smith and Pekka Rinne are also kind of over-rated because of the systems they play in cause those systems are systems and their systems are defense and defense is a system and that system means their really not that good cause its the system stopping the puck not them.
I wouldn't know, I dont watch either team play. But I know this series will be boring for a fact because everything I just said is true (I think) and it makes sense (sorta).

How much did Homer pay that "system" goalie again?

Seriously - is it not a great thing that the team owned essentially by the other 29 teams is in the quarter finals? I think it would be stupendous for the Coyotes to actually win the Cup at this point and have the entire league tour the trophy around as they all had a hand in winning it!!
The players and coaching staff of the desert dogs should be really proud of what they have already achieved and may be able to achieve. I love Tippet behind the bench... maybe Vigneault will take the job in Quebec City and Tippet (noticeably without a new contract will be the new bench boss in VAN City)... Shane Doan probably doesn't want his kids entered into the French - first language system in QC. I wonder how Shane and Ryan would look together...?
Yep - this is the most fun I and many Vancouver fans could be having without our team in the mix - watching the 'red headed step child' called the Phoenix Coyotes dismantle the Stanley Cup hopes of teams that have paid into their support network AND whose owners have a 1/29th share in their ownership!
Fabulous --- I look forward to one of the power brokers teams from the east like Philly or New York facing off against the Yotes in the finals. - deanofnucks
You know that even if Québec is a francophone province, there are a lot of anglophones schools, and anglos who don't speak a word of french, and no we don't hunt and kill them.
You can have full tuition in english in Québec. I bet you didn't know one of the best University in the world is in Montréal. It might ring a bell, it's called McGill. It's the only canadian university where your classes are credited if you plan to go to Harvard, just sayin'...
