devils are not good enough to score 3 goals on anyone on their own...thankfully, we took the 1st period off and bryz has chipped in one for them...if the flyers don't give them anything, the devils can not hang with us...not in the same class

I think chances are the Flyers score. They've out played the Devils over the past 2 periods, and there's no reason to think they're not going to keep doing it.

Voracek was easily to blame for a bad turnover. Bryz was fantastic to keep his team into it while the Flyers looked sluggish at best in the first. Watch the Game.

Bryz was outstanding in the 1st period when the Flyers were running around and gripping their sticks too tight. There were horrible blown coverages and a lot of quality slot and point-blank opportunities that NJ had in the 1st and he only gave up the 1 goal. That being said, Sykora's goal was most definitely a soft goal. You can't throw Bryzgalov under the bus after that let down.

There has been a big difference in the goals allowed today ... all Flyers goals, Brodeur had no chance on. All of Debs goals were through the 5 hole and could have been stopped. Gotta give Bryz a break on them though, he saved the Flyers bacn in the 1st.

that's one reason ... the other is the rest of the team was MIA for the first 20 minutes.

If not for Bryz in the first period this game would have been over already, and the Devils would have a 5 - 3 win.

There was only one bad goal. And the game is about more that that. No twisting required.

On another note JvR is absolutely flying out there. He looks like he's rounding into form from last year's playoffs. Just a tweak on his timing and he has a hatrick and the Flyers have game one.
