what a great weekend! the flyers wake up and pretty much dominate after the eagles appear to have a great draft
bryz is a box of chocolates right now...never know what you'll get, but we should be able to advance against the NJ unless he implodes. |

Is Lilja that slow? I couldn't tell if it was 6 or 8. - _Zippy_

If I recall, he was the one that didn't catch up to Sykora on his goal. If he was the one that couldn't outskate Sykora, he's not 100% - _Zippy_

One of the strangest goals I've ever seen against Rinne. Smith playing huge right before that. |

Huh? Brodeur has been embellishing and complaining for two decades. I don't fault him for it, because it works. - Jsaquella
Thats what I think it is. This is a vet goalie who is putting pressure on refs to guard the paint. He has been making these kind of statements since the mid 1990s. The ridiculously dainty contact that JVR made - a vet goalie cannot believe that it was interference.
Thing I noticed about Brodeur: he seemed to be laboring a bit. Watching him was like watching Elvis after 1965. All the moves are there, but looks a little dissipated, wheezes after exertion, and the avoirdupois is a tad pronounced.

My friend didn't see the game, I told him Sykora scored on a breakaway. He gave me the what-the-(frank) look and than said," Did all the Flyers fall on the play." |

Not big hockey markets, but media markets and population wise, yes.
LA is second in population of their metropolitan area with like 14 million and Phoenix is 14th with 4,192,887. |

Yeah, they've only really had one solid game between the pipes in 7 games and have 5 victories. Unreal. |

Because we all know how large that market is, and that doesn't include outside the metropolitan area like San Diego, however, PHX population size is often overlooked. |
