they won the samd gddamn way they always do. low scoring, nothing happening pretty much the 2nd period, and then win it midway through the 3rd, typically on a lousy goal. yesterday was textbook for them.

They are so big with blocking shots, opposing players have to start aiming pucks for their head. I'm sick of them blocking 25+ shots a game, and paying zero price to do it.

That's the thing. If you look at all the aspects of the game, the Flyers are generally better than the Devils, but it's not like they are THAT much better, which many seem to overlook. The Devils can definitely pull this one off and surprise a few people.

If Brodeur steals a couple of games, the dynamic of this series can change fast. We've seen goaltenders still games in these playoffs, Smith, Quick, Lundqvist, and Holtby have all done it to advance their teams. Brodeur may not be as great as he used to be, but if he can give us two amazing games, there's a chance we can pull off another two. Nevertheless, anxious to see how this series plays out.

It will be interesting. I think the Flyers have a clear advantage on paper, but we've seen how far that alone will get you. I just hope our team isn't looking past the Devils like many fans are, it would be dangerous to do so.
