Is anyone concerned with the week layoff, and a possible letdown after defeating the Penguins? - PLindbergh31
No. What's worse, being a team that could possibly draining it's angry with too many games (Rangers, Caps and Devils) or being rested? They'll be rust and maybe will lose today by being a little lazy but our strangth will return by Game 2 and this is where the home ice advantage comes in. We're banged out and there is only one way to heal. That's by resting. Being overly rested should only hurt one game, if that. I'd rather not be in the position of the teams I just named (Rangers, Caps, Devils), These guys are going to be tired.
Don't be surprised to see the Flyers' Sean Couturier shadowing the Devils' Ilya Kovalchuk during their second round series. Couturier and his linemates, Max Talbot and Eric Wellwood, did an excellent job of neutralizing Evgeni Malkin in the first round and they will likely draw a similar assignment against Kovalchuk in the second.

I would more likely sick Talbot after Kovalchuk. You gotta switch covering certain guys on the fly but Talbot will more likely be playing as a winger, as Kovachuk is. You don't want Couturier to focus too much on one guy, especially one that doesn't play the same position as him for the other team. Not saying Couturier won't cover Kovalchuk at all in the series.
Someone PLEASE provide me with a video to get me jacked up for this game. I am excited, don't get me wrong but I think this week long break has had an affect on me!
Video please.
Are there any videos out there of the highlights of the entire round one?

That's the thing. If you look at all the aspects of the game, the Flyers are generally better than the Devils, but it's not like they are THAT much better, which many seem to overlook. The Devils can definitely pull this one off and surprise a few people. - _Zippy_
Ugh, ok... it's the playoffs. Anything can happen. No one is overlooking the Devils, but it's a tremendous mismatch.
