The fact is he fought pucks today, yes the Devils defense didn'tplay great but he looks akward making routine saves. No threat what so ever for this Flyers team.

Not hating, he was a great goaltender, but he is washed up. I just don't understand why people are afraid to admit the obvious?

of the 5 teams in the Atlantic 4 of them made the playoffs. As much as they play each other, that means somewhere they had to get those points to win. Any team that plays in the Atlantic and makes the playoffs should be a team to be taken very seriously.

Marty looked more than solid last night and without the tremendous pressure the Flyers eventually put on him I don't see them winning. Course on the other end, without Bryz standing tall on the other end in the first, this game would have been out of reach quickly.

I have been a Flyers season ticket holder since 1994. I assume you are a young fan and haven't seen a steep decline since 2004 and especially over the last two seasons. Broduer poses no threat for the Flyers in this series.

Sorry for stating the obvious about Broduer. He is still great and can absolutely steal this series for NJ. One better he was absolutely robbed of the Conn Smythe in 2003. Is that bettet now?

Come on! You have to take me serious three Cups, most games, most wins, shutouts. Broduer is the best. Take it from me I was there in 95 & 2000 playoffs. I know what I'm talking about.

I don't agree. The Devils are weak on defense and Broduer is a shell of his former Vezina self. He wasn't good against the Flyers during the reg. season, 1-3 I believe, and wasn't good on Sunday in game 1.
