i'm watching the dvr and they're still flying after the goal. totally perplexed by the slashing call on jvr with a loose puck on marty. based on the few posts i've seen on this last page, they stopped playing pretty quickly i guess. - hammarby31
Right after the goal is most likely an exaggeration but as the game went on they yawned me, yes. When the Devils tied it I knew the outcome. It's not cause I don't have faith, sometimes these games happen and the Flyers allowed themselves to fall into it. No big deal right now, series tied at 1. I think the Flyers win 3 in a row now. |

Rangers have played 91 games so far this season, how many times do you think they had an effort like tonight, or the 10-3 game?
I don't expect this team to win every playoff game, far from it. I do expect them to compete and play with passion and effort. When they don't they deserve to be ripped to shreds. - PLindbergh31
Who cares what the Rangers have done. There is a difference between criticizing them for the way they played tonight. And completely overreacting such as wondering if they've tuned out the Coach. The Flyers played a game in round one where they weren't competitive either.

it's pretty close.

No, you were right when you asked if they have tuned out the coach. That is the obvious conclusion that we all should have come to after losing game 2 in a 1 to 1 second round series.
I'm amazed no one else thought to ask that or pose that idea. In fact, we should pose that question to Meltz tomorrow in his blog.
Ill ask now, Hey Bill, do you think the team has tuned out the coach? PLind wants to know. - MBFlyerfan
I don't know, I see a team that constantly isn't ready to play at the drop of the puck. I wonder why that issue hasn't been addressed in half a season. |

It's all my fault guys, I allowed demon alcohol to touch my lips tonight. After games 4 and 5 last series I said i wouldn;t drink during games. The Flyers went on to win two more, then I broke the streak. IT IS ALL MY FAULT. Name a location and I will show up to be stoned for ending the Flyers season. |

Jeez, if they lose another game like this we will have PLind asking if they all have contracted AIDS. Hey it can happen.

To criticize is one thing, but you're making it sound like the team is hopeless. The whole overzealous demand for answers, that's a reaction I'd reserve for a team with deeper issues like the Maple Leafs, not one tied in a second round playoffs series against another top team in the conference. The Flyers should've been a lot better tonight. But sometimes you get the bear, and sometimes the bear gets you. |

Read says the Flyers didn't give the Devils the respect they should have, after going up 1 zip.
maybe this is a blessing in disguise.

They only reason to keep watching is to see Bryz's best game of the playoffs... until it pisses you off that the Flyers wasted it - eayost
i'm going to watch it. the first 10 minutes they're absolutely flying out there, creating shorthanded chances, skating, supporting the puck. they look good. i want to see where they go south. i'm not really worried about the loss. i still expect them to win in 6. |

Nothing the Flyers can do at this point but to put this one behind them. Have to get ready for Game 3 cause its going to be a difficult one. The Flyers should get back to business. |

Maybe they should fire the Coach and name Berube the interim Head Coach for the rest of the playoffs.

You cite what the Bruins have done in a previous post, then say who cares what the Rangers have done? Not sure I get it. |

The Boston Bruins had to win 3 game 7's last year to win the Cup. It's the playoffs. Every team is a good team. Your first mistake is thinking that Florida isn't a good team. - MJL
The Bruins went into overtime in the first round to beat the Canadiens, to further prove your point. |

Exactly. I'm completely confident that this team will fix what happened tonight, and come out and play well the rest of the Series. Give the Devils some credit. They outplayed the Flyers in every aspect tonight.
