He's only 22. - LordStanley88
Haha very true. I would love to see him become more offensive minded though. I can't deal with a faster version of Ville Leino. |

It's impossible to make this statement with any kind of reasoning behind it. Both players are , and have been very good their entire career. Good players get traded all the time. The fact that they were traded doesn't mean they aren't good players, or "sour apples" as you put it. - MJL
I'm curious to know....why can't someone's opinion be made to state this?
There has been reports about how the locker room was divided to some extent from very good sources. Sour Apples, consistent players, good players, bad leaders...every player needs to right enviroment to succeed.

Not surprised about the latter. He's in all honesty a lazy bum. |

Where's there is smoke there is fire, and when you see the fire truck rolling down your street there's no denying. The smoke being the rumors, the fire being the player's ineptness on the ice which towards the end of last year, was very prevalent and the fire truck would be the trades. That was a house cleaning.

Carter most certainly was a "sour apple" in Columbus. That's why he's in LA in the first place. - maine_mariner
I would not describe it as such. And if Carter was unhappy in Columbus, he has every right to be, and wouldn't blame him one bit.

Ouch for the Preds. They already have trouble scoring. Even with Radulov struggling this won't be good. |

I'm actually surprised about Kostitsyn, not Radulov. After Jones lambasted Radulov on TV, he deserved to be benched |

All of those same fires have been in the media about Bryzgalov, but yet you defended him to the hilt. 90% of it was a bunch of BS. There was never any ineptness from either player on the ice. Never!

I think everyone overlooks the fact that they needed to get Giroux top line minutes. In order to do that you had to make room at center. |

The problem is, Radulov isn't even skating hard. He's out doing figure 8's. |

This is a more level headed version of what I'm trying to say, I think even I still have some bitterness in me for the disappointment of that era ending the way it did and its spilling into my posts. MJL is right in that they are good players and to carry on the witch hunt is wrong. |

They could always just sign defenseman. The Bruins don't have one home grown d-man on their club.
Obviously I see us taking a d-man with our 1st rd pick this year though. - LordStanley88
We didn't draft Boychuk but he came up through our system. |

WOW!
Makes you wonder how much the Preds management regrets bringing Radulov back.
Didn't they know about this guys character flaws from his prior stints with the club?!?!
AK46, no suprise, he wasn't a model citizen in Montreal either.

For the same reason that every trade is made. To make your team better being the number one reason. You want value in return, your not going to get it trade castoffs in a fire sale. The Flyers got the value did due to the quality of players they chose to trade.

My apologies on JB.
Regardless, we have practically developed Coburn ourselves. He was a mediocre player with an abundance of talent when Homer first traded for him. Nonetheless, it's certainly possible for us us to succeed without trading some of our forwards for defensive prospects. And as I said, we'll be taking a defenseman in the 1st rd in this year's upcoming draft anyways. |

He was playing fine for most of the first series. Is it possible he could be tired? He hasn't played this much hockey at this level since he left the NHL. I would like to think that instead of him being another lazy Russian. |
