According to Mario Tremblay on RDS, Marc Bergevin the leading candidate for the GM job, he is getting a 3rd interview. McGuire would be the 2nd candidate.

Bergevin was a pro scout, assistant coach, director of player personnel and now assistant GM with Chicago. He also played for 20 years in the NHL.

Alexis Pepin is a good kid. Will need to mature quickly though. Smart hockey player. Not you new breed of player that chips it off the board and chases. He likes to carry the puck.
