Abdullah Ibrahim is my favorite jazzman. He's way old now, though. I don't think he'll come back to the U.S. again. I've seen him many times. I feel like jazz loses more than other genres when not experienced live. - bodiva88

Spring for the $1 version. No ads. - Scoob
I heard the paid version still had ads, just not as many or as onerous. |

Command and Conquer is good but it takes too damn long which is the problem with all of them. - JoeRussomanno
I don't think it is that bad. Me and my little guys will get through a game in under 40 minutes.
I love Zero hour, it may be my favoritest game of all PC games.

What version are you guys playing, just the regular online? The one I played was for playstation. |

Loved SC, couldn't get into SC2. The genre has gotten to complicated for my slow reaction times - BulliesPhan87
Ya, I just played the single player in SC2(it was really good), and against bots. People get waaay too good at those games to the point of I have no idea how they enjoy them. Now my focus has shifted to DOTA2 and Diablo3, both coming out soon. |

Not if you pay the whopping $1.99. The free version has ads. I bought mine on a 1/2 price apps day. Best $0.99 I ever spent. - bodiva88
Might have to give the "official" Scrabble one a try too then. Do they do the Facebook integration thing too? |

I lost my sophomore year of high school to Diablo 2, I don't think I can do that again
Online games are too much for me, people have that crap down to a science. I stick to single player and co-op games now to protect my ego. |

Got ya.
We Play Command and Conquer with the Zero Hour expansion pack for PC.
I found Command and Conquer to hard to play with a console.
We also like Star Wars: Empire at War and the expansion pack for that: Forces of Corruption.

Ya, my brother has lived in boston the past 2 years so playing games like diablo online are a good way to keep in touch on a regular basis. |

Bullies,
I am rite there with ya!
If I play with my little guys or a friend we play co-op style. Back in the day, I could rock of Zero Hour with the best of 'em, not so much anymore.

Words with Friends. It's a take off of Scrabble. - rockychocbill
Yeah i have that game. But Scramble with Friends is by the same company and is a take off Boggle. (really fun). And Draw something can totally be a hoot!
Just suggestion more ways to waste some time! |

Joe,
It is all about moderation.
The thing is with the playoffs going on I don't touch my PC at home much. It is a struggle for me to get my Game Day post up on the weekends.
Gaming is a good way to get away from reality for a little while.

Too many to list. I did a stint of Empire at War a bit ago, better than I expected. I do some Left 4 Dead every so often, and... well, maybe I ought not stretch the page with that list |

definitely worth the time. Learning isn;t as bad as one might think. Kind of a no-brainer. Want to start with openings and how they work, middle game is wide open so that just boils down to the type of player you are, strategic or positional, and endgame I find easier than all of them b/c there's less pieces. You can teach yourself really, just google chess openings etc. |
