It's not boring for the Devils. They have a free pass in the Flyers zone and seem to be able to stay there as long as they like. - Duran76
I'm sure it's not boring to them, but I was saying it was to me. If it wins you a series..trap the whols time and scrum on the boards.. |

Calm down, folks. Plenty of hockey left.
Time to make some adjustments of our own and start working our own cycle. We're letting the Devils beat us at our own game right now. - LordStanley88
Time to make adjustments? Dude, they've been playing this way since they scored the first goal in game 2. Devils haven't changed a thing and are killing us.
We can't handle a single forechecker (1 guy running back and forth apparently is impossible to beat). Don't remember the last time we've cleared center ice cleanly. And we look like a penalty kill on the 5 on 5. This has been going on for over 3 periods now across 2 games. Ridiculous. There's been time to fix this (days) and it hasn't helped.
How about we start hitting them a bit? |

There being beasted downlow in their own end. That simple. They need to make adjustments. - stveshdy
Specifically start skating and getting their own cycle going down low in their end. We're an aggressive forechecking team too. Let's see it. |

Well, IMO, this is the first real adversity the team has faced in the playoffs. I don't think game 4 against Pitt was as big a deal as this. They look totally lost, about to go down in a series if they don't find their game. |

They look like they have dead legs yet we were the team that had a week off before the series. |

Basically going through the motions again. This on the heels of the debacle in game 2. |

Yea, let's hit them a put ourselves even more out of position.
It all starts with working and skating. We need to show the desperation and skating the legs that the Devils have in the last few periods of the series. The time starts now, because as others have said, it's only going to get worse if we don't. |

Getting outworked and outsmarted again.
If they don't turn this around soon they will be out in five games. |

Duh. Anybody who thinks the Devils still play a trap is a moron. |

They started strong in the first 7-8 minutes. The Devils had that one great shift and dominated the rest of the way. |

this is reminding me of a series i watched last year at this time.different leaders same results.so i guess giroux and hartnell are getting traded sometime in june. |

Thanks for your unsolicited input. They used to trap and it won them series and cups..I found it boring, but I am sure the Devils fans loved it.. that was the point. |

this 2nd period could be the defining period of the series. Do the Flyers push back and make this game competitive, or will the Devils continue to roll over them.

They need to start taking pride out on the ice. The Devils imo want it more right now. |

Bryz could have had the first goal, but no blame we are cool it's only tied. Kovy's goal no chance. The Flyers for whatever reason lost all confidence and it shows in their play. The moment the face adversity they stop skating.
Giroux IMO is getting punked and is not handling the extra attention very well. Is Jagr playing tonight?
The flyers are looking like the worst team in the playoffs that i have seen at this point. |

I dont have any answers. Theres no reason the Flyers should be getting dominated like this. |
