I can't believe some of the crap they missed in the Bruins, Philly/Pitt, PHX/LA, and Detroit/Nashville series.
Some of their mistakes changed the outcome of games in some cases. Turning the tide. Momentum swings...
That's bullsh!t!
The NHL refs are god awful, and after watching 24/7, believe they are the stars of the show. |

He hasn't done nearly enough to be called elite. Not even close - prock
How about responding about now Price has better career numbers than Miller? Not elite but top 10.

These days, anyone can win it, among the top 5 or 6 teams. But the favourite is still Canada. Second, might be the US. Maybe Russia. Maybe Sweden.
Sweden generally puts together better teams these days. - prock

I honestly think the Slovaks are as good or better than team Sweden. I picked that upset all the way in Vancouver. They're so strong now! |

Still you should put patrice bergeron in the line up. You don't only need skills in the olympics but hardwork ethics |

Pretty close to my team as well.
Couple things...
Pietrangelo over del zotto in that 6 spot.
Not sure seabrook has the skating for the big ice.
Not sure about kane on the 2nd line.

I really like Pietrangelo aswell, but I don't like having 5 of 6 defensemen being right handed. If anything, switch him with Seabrook.
Only reason I have Kane on the team is because of the chemistry he, Getzlaf and Perry showed at the WHC.
I really want Skinner on this team aswell, but not sure who to drop in his place. Either Staal or Eberle I think. |

Skinner will be a good player but I don't see him being better than Eberle or Staal. |

U didnt watch a second of the world championships.
If u did, u definetely wouldnt say kane has no chance.
In fact, at this point hes probably got the inside track on alot of dudes.
Hall? A long shot as of today. But certainly not zero chance.
Theres still a season and a half to be played. And halls a game breaker |

the world championships is full of second tier players that a) are eliminated from the playoffs and b) are filling spots the stars dont want (although each year we do see stars attend, but most roster spots are filled with dusters like luke schenn, and marc methot. its easy to put up goals on kazakhstan |

I was gonna name a bunch of superstars, but that would be a waste of time.
The only point that really matters is u said evander kane had no shot to make the olympic squad. Which is flat out wrong.
He absolutely has a shot.
Hes a power forward that can skate and keep up on the big surface.
Even Forgetting for a second that mgmt loves pre determined comfort levels with players, which he showed a ton of alongside sure pick corey perry and getzlaf.
The most important point is No matter what broad team list u or anyone else comes up with, kane is 100% at least in the conversation.
Which means he has a shot.
And imo, a good one. |

The WC are an interesting animal. On a world scale, its second tier. The top 3 or 4 teams, however, put up decent teams. Better than NHL teams, I'd say. In terms of rankings on a world scale, its rather meaningless. But when players do well, ignoring games against Norway and Italy, its not toally meaningless.
So, I'd say you're right in terms of scoring a bunch of goals against kazakhs means sfa, but if they can dominate against the US, Russia, Sweden, I'd pay attention.
And I think Evander Kane can be a great third or fourth liner on team Canada. |

Anyone want to add a little muscle with Lucic? - bruinsbeer69
Why not, as pointed our earlier, the roster is a couple of spots bigger than a NHL roster, so perhaps there is a spot for him. |

So will it be interational sized ice or regular NHl size like the lat Olympics. Because Lucic would not be a wise choice on the big ice. |
