Doughty and Myers are my two favourite young Dmen in the league. I think they’re going to be the next era’s Nieds and Pronger (yes, I’m aware there are differences… like Myers isn’t nearly as nasty). |

Probably somewhere around there. Close anyway. - prock
Of the goalies you mentioned Lundqvist, Rinne, Kiprusoff, Thomas, Quick and Luongo are all better than Price. Miller and Vokoun Hiller and Backstrom have pretty similar stats than Price so i don't think you can say they are better plus Price has had a bad team in front of him this year. The remaining one is Halak who has yet to prove he can be a true number one goalie. Last year he started the season as the true number one and played only 57 games and had one of the worse save percentages of his career. Until he can play 60-70 games i don't know if i would put him on my list. Rask and Schnider look very good and could be added to the list if they become starters. I really don't think it is a stretch to put him in the top 10 and he probably should.

Over what? Last year? The last 3 years?
I just don't think that's true, so I'd like you to specify what you're looking at to come to that conclusion. |

Miller is better then Price, dude. He has a vezina and an olympic Silver medal. Hiller is a question mark because of his vertigo but he was performing better. Vokoun is past his prime now I think Price is better and Backstrom has the same poop kind of team in front of him. He is on par as it is right now but Price has a higher ceiling obviously. |

Going by the last 2 years. Price is only 24 so i am comparing what they have done recently. The other goalies are older so it is not fair to compare his first couple years in the league to theirs when they are in their prime. |

Miller had one really good year and won the vezina but this year the save percentage is the same and last year Price had a better year. Closer than you think. Hiller was performing really well but not at the moment. For the list of goalies i mentioned there are arguments for each of them being better. Point is there is probably 6 elite goalies and the next is pretty open so I think Price is top 10

Miller's worst sv% over the past 4 years is .916. Price has only one better than that.

There is absolutely no debate to the fact that Miller is a more accomplished and consistant goaltender then Price. |

Miller had a .916 the last two years so don't make it look like that is a bad year for him. He had one huge year where his his save percentage was 11 points higher than his next best season at a .918. I wasn't counting the first few years of Price's career because that is comparing his first years against MIller's prime years. Do you not see why i would do that? Would what he did the last 2 years not be a better indication of what he will do next year than what he did 3 or 4 years ago? If you want to go their entire career Price has a better save percentage and GAA than Miller.

If you ask ANY non-Habs fan, if their team was gunning for a cup this year, who would they put in net if they had the choice, between Price and Miller, and 9 times out of 10, you’ll get Miller as an answer. |

Yup, and in my opinion, you can say the same thing about 10+ more goalies in the NHL right now. That's all I'm saying. |
