I choose Seguin over Eberle today simply because he has more professional big game experience. |

Yeah, I wish Eberle was more clutch, and could preform in the big games |

He hasn't played an important game in his life in the NHL yet. I think that was his point. That being said, I love the player and think he is/will be $$$$ throughout his career. |

He has only been in the NHL two years though, and it's been with a bad team. He knows how to bring it in the big games (when playing with team Canada). |

I know. Doesn't mean it isn't true. The Oilers have been so god damned awful the past 5 years and they are still about a gritty third line. a goalie and 4 dmen away from a playoff team. I'm moving to Edmonton on June 26th, I'll have a good oppurtunity to see the team when it should be turning a corner. |

That's not at all what I said.
Just to give you an idea of how I see it; The WJC is a tournament of the best boys on the planet, the Olympics would be a tournament of the best players, grown men, who are seasoned vets. It's not even remotely comparable. That's not to belittle what Eberle has done for the Canadian Juniors, but it doesn't translate. |

He seems to have no problem in the NHL... I'm pretty sure that's full of the best players in the world. |

TONS OF GOLD - Cape Breton Bruins
Yep. He was definitely the reason they lost.
Seguin's 10 points in 20 playoff games surely more impressive. |

IMO there's no comparison between a regular season NHL game, a 2nd tier tournament and the Canada-US Gold Final. You can't sit there and make that comparison with a straight face. It doesn't work. |

Doesn't mean he hasn't dominated important games against men though..
Seguin is clearly the lesser player if the only argument is playoff experience would you guys take Burrows over Eberle too? |

Dude.....calm down. Everyone likes Eberle. Stop whining over people's hypothetical rosters of a tourny that is two years away. |

That's great I was merely responding to whoever said Seguin's "playoff experience" puts him over the top of a better player.
I feel Seguins lack of production in the playoffs speaks more volumes than Eberles lack of experience.

Depends on the context one would like to examine. There is no point of reference because Eberle, unfortunately never got a whiff of a playoff game in his life.
Seguin came off the bench as a 19 year old kid and turned the tide for us in the ECF last year. Thats something tangible. Both are terrific players. Any red blooded Canadian who doesn't root for Eberle after his Junior heroics are just likely haters from rivals. I'm happy Team Canada can have these types of debates with players so young. |

Agreed.
Disagree on Seguin part though. Minus those 1 or 2 good game(s) he has been pretty underwhelming in the playoffs. |

Last year, yes. He wasn't given the minutes or oppurtunities to flourish offensively when you consider him being a rookie and the Bruins on a run playing some pretty important games. If you watched the Caps/Bruins series closely this year he had chance after chance after chance and was snake bitten/robbed by Holtby. We found the back of the net in games six and seven. Getting this playoff experience and knowing what it takes is just a bonus for a young player like Seguin. |
