Grossmann hasnt been the same since the concussion. I think hes playing cautiously but not at full health. He isnt even playing physical which he was doing the entire time since the Flyers acquired him. - stveshdy
I can't believe I'm saying this, but whatever happened with Kubina? I mean, he's had nearly two weeks to heal up and train. Is he ready to roll yet? |

Not sure. The Flyers just need to be faster with the puck in their own end. Taking to long and making too many bad decisions behind their own net. You have to dictate play and support in your own end.
Kubina wouldn't make much of a difference right now. Lilja and Gus were not very good yesterday (as a unit). |

Agreed, speed is not his strong suit but if he can hit more than Grossman he might be better to have in there. I don't know, I'm pulling at straws here. |

The flyers started to match the devils tempo in the 2nd period. The pp failed them and they've been getting caught in their own end on some ridiculously long shifts leading to a key mistake. I think they finally learned from last game and I expect a better effort while hoping the devils have cooled their jets |

Problem is the Flyers need to create more when its 5 on 5 hockey. They have scored most their goals in the playoffs on the PP. They have to find a way to move the puck and create scoring chances when things are even. This will take the pressure off of the PP (seems like they have to score everytime they get one). |

I rather have Grossmann out there right now then Kubina. Kubina moves like a turtle right now and doesnt give you anything. Grossmann needs to snap out of the "foggy-ness" and start ballin' out there. |

Exactly, if he's concussed maybe he shouldn't be playing, especially if he's considered one of the weaker links on the team, never mind the obvious health issues. |

Just curious to why you think Giroux is fighting a groin injury? - stveshdy
He's giving me no reason to believe he's 100% by any stretch. Giroux had much focus on him on Hockey Night in Canada and he was laboring a number of times after the whistles. He's falling, he's not stick handling through players. He's not playing the way he's capable because I honestly don't think he can right now. |
