i'm not panicking or scapegoating. i'm extremely disappointed in the flyers this entire round to this point. the devils are not deviating and playing great hockey. it's up to the players to decide if they feel like trying to win.

the good news is that the flyers are clearly capable of scoring on brodeur. the problem is they rarely have the puck, and can't get out of their end. they really have very little chance of winning if the tempo/style of play doesn't change starting at the start of the 2nd period. eventually the devils will cash in.

I agree. The flyers are trying to set up behind their net and then work the puck out and that is allowing time for the devils to set up. Dont know why they continue to do that.

as bad as the Flyers have been playing, if they win today the series is tied at 2, we are tied at 2 in this game. but with that said, they start playing hockey again they will win, if they continue this lazy dumb hockey they will be toast

In terms of systems the Flyers cannot really change too much. I dont believe the system is letting them down.

Right now they cannot get going into the offensive zone. That can be changed with skating better and dumping it off the wall or into the zone.

They are being too cute with it and not playing playoff hockey.

No hitting, or playing like robots with no emotion isn't on the coach. Jersey is great along the boards and the Flyers forwards do not have the grit that the Devils do. If thats the case then try to simply keep them to the outside and make sure you have your man covered.

The problem right now imo isn't the defensive zone coverage as much. It is the inability to transition into the offensive zone which would open things up.

That and they need to get physical. Good on Hartsy for showing he has a pulse.
