I really hope it's just a fine. If he gets like 3 games or something, I will be furious. Weber and his turnbuckle head slam say hi. - Hextall271
I think he gets a game, at most. Not a repeat offender, Zubrus not injured....but generally fines get announced fairly quickly. |

Weber smashed a guys head into the boards, and Malkin was running around throwing elbows. So why should G be suspended? - Sabreshark
Dirty hit + = suspension |

But Jagr until lately was a guy who won battles on the boards and was impossible to move off the puck. They don't necessarily need another guy who can hit. They need for the guys who can hit to hit and they need the guy with the giant thighs of power to play like himself. - bodiva88
He did, either way i think he's showing his age. A month ago I'd have loved to have him back next year but I don't think it's plausible to do so and expect him to be in top form for the playoffs. It's a shame don't want to see him go the Favre route with his career. |

The longer it takes the NHL to announce supplimentary discipline for Giroux, the more likely it is he gets suspended - Jsaquella
Most likely. |

Other than Couturier and Talbot and sometimes Giroux which Flyers forwards are very good in their own end? - Dkos
This. I mentioned possibly shedding some salary if the opportunity arises but got my head chewed off, so I'll crawl back under my rock with that sentiment now |

I think they need to add some more size in the offseason. Jagr is a big guy but not a physical player. Guys like Simmonds and couturier could probably fill in a little bit. But really if you make smarter decisions with the puck it alleviates that advantage. - JoeRussomanno
this is the counter-argument to having 3+ skilled lines. You love the offensive depth. One person gets hurt, you easily have another to move up. But, when you have guys like Wellwood, Talbot, Schenn, Couturier Read as your 3/4 line guys, they don't really do a lot of physical damage. Some to an extent, but it's not their role. I'm a big fan of two top lines, a third line that is a checking line with some skill and grit and a big fourth line that plays a defined, but limited role. Not a Shelly kind of role, but a physically wear out the other team's dmen type role. |

I totally agree but with the cap I think it's going to be tough structuring the team into that mold and if they do some eggshells gotta be cracked and people are gonna get pissed. |

If he signs cheap, I give him 1 more year. I think a lot of the reason Jagr fell off is because he played in the KHL, then went right to the WC tourney, then had like a month off and came right into camp and was working extra hard to get NHL ready. Maybe a full NHL offseason helps Jagr out, and he might be able to last all season next year. |

I honestly don't believe G deserves a game for that. I'd understand a 1 game suspension, but don't think it's warranted. |

I think its warranted. I also think 1+ games were warranted for the actions of a few other star players thus far in the playoffs, so who knows what will happen. |

14 pages of excuses and whining. Awesome.
BTW that scumbag Giroux ought to get 40 games for that shoulder Just kidding, but at least one like Neal,
Pretty funny Roo is turning into everything you hate about Crosby. Superior talent, whiner, diver, cheap shot artist (now with a history to support it). Pretty funny how the shoe is now on ther other foot. - Sell My Monkey
Easy there speedy, it was one incident to a career worths of Crosby's shenanigans okay. Oh and Neal launched himself through the air, big difference between what he did and Giroux did. |

Uh, what? I've seen 14 pages of trying to figure out exactly why the Flyers are getting their asses kicked (you know, aside from not playing hockey very well). |
