Doesn't help that Hartnell is playing on one foot in this series, and Jagr has suddenly turned into a 100 year old man.

On the list of reasons why the Flyers are being manhandled in this series, Giroux is about as culpable as Bryzgalov. Guys like Simmonds, Jagr, and the entire defense core have been empty uniforms. I'm going to give Timonen a mulligan as well, he was the teams best d-man all year, and I believe we will hear very shortly after the season has concluded that Timonen will be going under the knife.

None of the Flyers top players even remotely deserve a mulligan right now in this Series.

This has been a complete team collapse. I think everyone has just done on summer break. Bryz has been the best player by far this series and he deserves some credit for keeping the games as close as they are.

Are the devils this good, did the pens series take everthing from the Flyers, have the rookies hit the wall who knows but this series has sucked. I tried being positive, but after last night there just isn' t much to be positive about. I still think they can win this or at least make it a series, but they need to start playing.

The only problem is that Carle hasn't gotten roasted by Sykora. But that's inconsequential as far as scapegoating is concerned.

i'm absolutely giving bryz the credit. I also think he needs to comeback with the universe stuff on his helmet next year too. Totally trivial I know, just killing time until the game comes on.

I'm not unnerved or negative yet because these games they lost were winnable. They could turn this thing around and win three games like NJ did to them in 2000.

If they don't I really like the direction of this team. I fully believe the nucleus of young players will yield a cup in the future if not this year. Okay Im really out now, my mom's gonna ground me if I don't go eat dinner.

Remember how dominating the Flyers were down the stretch of the 3rd period and in OT in game 1 in this series? Devils adjusted nicely and haven't looked back.

This. I mean, what else can we do, despair about a 4th loss in a row when it hasn't yet happened? There's still some hockey left to be played, maybe even a lot if we're lucky. Despite the glum outlook, I'd rather have this game without Giroux and a chance, than be out checking my favorite players golf scores of the day. ;-)
