I want the Flyers to win the next game.

Any news if Andrej is back?

- flyer_nutter

If he's ready and it won't kill him I'd say he's back. They might even want to roll with 8 or 9 d-men for tomorrow's game.

Fire No One. Trade anyone who we can get above market value for (*cough* JVR *cough*) and suspend only G.

The Flyers are going to win tomorrow. I didnt hear anything on Mez.
- stveshdy

They will come out on fire, score first ... But give up the tying goal the next shift, as their goal is being announced.

The period will appear to be ending tied when they somehow lose track of Kovy, who will score with under ten seconds left.

The rest of the game will be a formality.

This. I mean, what else can we do, despair about a 4th loss in a row when it hasn't yet happened? There's still some hockey left to be played, maybe even a lot if we're lucky. Despite the glum outlook, I'd rather have this game without Giroux and a chance, than be out checking my favorite players golf scores of the day. ;-)

Great point. I'm with you. Who would you rather be right now? A Blues or Pens fan? Or a Flyers fan?

I can't believe my friend, a Flyers fan, is seriously saying that Zubrus dove on Giroux's hit.

Like....what?

would you believe the reboot is actually filmed and completed just sitting on a shelf in a studio? Probably for the better as apparently the invading country is North Korea. What they didn't hear of China!?

The biggest game of the year is tommorow. I am not counting the Flyers out. There is only one reason for that, but it is a big one and that has been the play of Bryz.

IF the Flyers can sneak out with a win tommorow and turn the play around in that game, they will have big time confidence with getting Giroux and possibly Mez back.

Am I banking on this? No, I'd say anywhere from a 5-10% chance of this.

Looked liked Lunqvist's positioning was a little off there.

look, the flyers are completely capable of playing a fantastic game and beating the devils tomorrow. it's not like they have poopty players and have no clue how to play the game. they can win without giroux.

I'm way late to the party but I want to give my thoughts on G. The suspension is completely deserved. Yes, the NHL is inconsishtent and it's a disgrace. But you don't put yourself in the position to have a situation like this. This is all on G. The play was selfish and stupid. He really let the team down. What needs to happen now, is that the rest of the players rally around this and bail him out.
As I posted last night, I fully believe if they play halfway decent, they will go to a game7

I should have clarified.......5-10% on a series win at this point.

it sure was. he was deep in the net, didn't expect the turnover or challenge when it happened and leaned/slid to the right. even the greatest goalies of all-time, like captain shoulder pads himself, can get beat on a point blank chance.

Capital Grille
Keen's in nyc. Not a chain. A very old coaching inn a short walk from MSG. Food's great, atmosphere is amazing.
Morton's

I find drenching steaks in butter to be unnecessary. The grade of steak you're eating in these places sure don't need MORE fat.
