I think Zidlicky caused his own injury by burying his head as he turned his back but did the Flyers fans actually boo him when he got back on his feet, holy shyt what a classless city. - HankdaTank
I agree. Simmonds didn't have to mash his head into the boards but Zidlicky knew it was coming and put himself into that position. |

Zid definitely put himself in a vulnerable position. He has himself to blame for that. The Rinaldo hit on the other hand... |

Well I guess the Flyers will now take them down 1 by 1, over/under on how many Flyers are left on the bench by the end? I say 6 - HankdaTank
Well, I hate to be mean but that would mean the Devils would be banged up and not close to 100% for the ECF against what we hope is us. That's not too bad is it? |

So with Kenny Albert doing the play by play for NBCSN, you think thats a precursor to him taking over Sam Rosens spot in a few years? |

He's on Cooke's level, just an animal, Devils would be smart to goat him into a 10 minute misconduct. |

It's the spot he's always wanted, he's said before that the Rangers are #1 for him, he's got his dad's voice and the down syndrome look |

watching the Devs/Flyers game and just food for thought, and not wanting to look beyond the obvious importance of the game tomorrow, but assuming we advance who would you guys prefer to face in the next round?
Of the teams left in the chase the Flyers seem to be the only team left with elite offensive ability, but that speaks volumes for playoff hockey as the other teams still alive mainly play a defensive/goal tending reliable system.
And as we all know we dominated the Flyers during the regular season, but if they some how manage to win this series..I don't feel overly confident facing a Flyers team on a 3 game win streak, especially with Bryz being their best players so far. |

I think we got fooled by Philly's first round win over Pitt. Even then they had defensive breakdowns and inconsistent efforts from Bryz. Pitt was just that horrible that the Flyers looked strong by comparison. Flyers are playing with a stunning lack of discipline in all facets of their game.
Jersey is executing their game plan to perfection and the Flyers have no answer. The Devils are taking advantage of nearly every miscue Philly makes.
I hope to see the ECF and a matchup with the Devils. It would be strangely poetic. The last time the Rangers were the top seed in the East they beat the Devils in the ECF and went on to win a cup. I liked the first story and I'm ready for the sequel. |

I said that after the Pitt series. I wasn't going to make any judgement on Philly until I saw how they played with some adversity, or with their backs to the walls. That opening series with Pitt wasn't playoff hockey. It was pond hockey. |

Playoffs are so bizarre.
NJD squeeks by over Florida, Philly stream rolls Pittsburgh.
Then NJD steam roll Philly... |

Bunch of people saying the Flyers lost the series which is hilarious. Devils took the play to them every game and kicked their asses. |
