Anyone hear anything about Dubinsky? - TrueBlue9182
Nothing on my end, he had to be dying watching a gm like that last night & the 3 OT game last week. He will be back I'm sure (if we make it) in the next round. Guy is due for a Herculian type of moment here in these playoffs.

he'd certainly help on the penalty kill, the Caps have scored a big powerplay goal in 3 straight games now

Can't stress enough how much we need to wrap it up tomorrow night. The extra rest is obviously needed & it will get Dubi that much closer to coming back lets hope.
Meanwhile go Flyers tonight, extend that series to at least 6.

It would also be a pleasure to see him on the PP instead of Mitchell. - aecliptic
Mitch has been a target for most of us & rightfully so, but that faceoff win was so huge last night in OT, not just the win but his controlling it right back to Stall on the gm winner.

I asked a few best writers on Sauer and waiting on response. Think you all are being optimistic on Dubi, as we have not heard any positive news on him

I dont know how good it would be to put Sauer in there coming off a concussion. These playoffs have been brutal and physical. Not an ideal situation for him.
Probably was brought up but the Ranger fans yesterday were nuts! lol I loved the countdown to Ovi sucks lol. Funny as hell. - Velcro300
Wish we could say it was an original idea but we stole it from Ottawa. They count down from 11:11 and chant "Alfie" at the 11:00 mark. We altered it a touch last series at MSG to Alfie sucks and have continued this series with Ovie. It is humorous.

Not to mention, he did have a choice. He could have walked away from the contract, left the $6.5 million a year on the table, and signed somewhere else for a $2 million per. I certaintly understand why he wouldn't want to leave that money on the table, but he could be playing in the NHL if he chose to walk away from the money.

I think he was to busy doing the Chris Wheeler to say anything
- TPC
The home color guy is always gonna be a bit of a homer. Even JD had his moments when he would get caught up in a Ranger moment. He def bordered on breaking down during the Cup celebration in 94.
I've never heard that. Where is that in the CBA? - bodiva88
I believe when the team places him on waivers before the start of the season and he clears he would void the remainder of his contract if he refused the assignment to Hartford. I would have to look it up in the CBA but this was disscussed all last summer in several forums.
Shame he got the 4 year deal and Cally got the 3 year deal. - evitageN
He's a useful player still but for the cap charge he needs to be scoring 20 goals or close to it. $4 million plus is way too much for a "specialist," i.e. a PK, faceoff, 4th line production guy.

Wow, that was fast. Tie game. - gkmkiller
That was one hell of a deflection by Simmonds...just wrong net
